Yes, it is pretty hypocritical - it would make a lot more sense if it was an "all or none" policy. But cartoon Human porn is considered a variation on child pornography, so it's definitely out. But, as far as I know, no one's ever tested whether or not "cub" art is considered CP in court. I believe FA considers there to be enough of a "gray area" there that cub art is still allowed... at least until some judge rules otherwise.

I'm 24 and I still get asked if I'm old enough to work when I go to job interviews. An 18 year old looking severely younger than their age is not unheard of...hell, half of the twink porn industry is based on 18 year olds looking 14.

Also consider that poor nutrition slows down physical maturity, and food would have been scarce in that area if we assume realistic conditions. Technically, Hiccup looks more realistic than the bigger vikings.

Whatever his age is, it doesn't matter. In the United States there is something known as "Freedom of Expression." That defends any drawn art, and whether that includes shota or not doesn't matter.

To suggest that drawing a stick figure with a penis and labeling it "underage" to be the same thing as real child pornography is just as ridiculous as if someone compared a picture of a fight to assault, or comparing the picture of a killing to murder, and demanded legal action towards the content and it's creator and viewers.

It's absurd, the court system KNOWS THIS and DEFENDS our write to draw and express ourselves freely... For now. If anything changes, I'd be sorely disappointed, because I probably shouldn't go to jail for genocide if I choose to read the Iliad, or get a speeding ticket if I watch James Bond in a car chase.
