Fluff stop being butt-hurt over something you perceive as being done wrong. You and that other individual who made a journal about this are only giving half the story of what happened.

The difference is in this case, the admins were provided with information THEY PREVIOUSLY DID NOT HAVE. idrawgayboys provided proof that supported his assertion that his drawings should be allowed. The evidence was clear, and the admins reversed their decision based on that evidence. If the only proof you can provide to support your cause is, "OMG I'm so butthurt cause you, the admins, interpret the ToS differently than I do!" then you'll never win, and honestly, don't deserve to.

Did you even WATCH the video? The guys making the movie stated that he was of age, that he is 18, that the whole dragon training was a coming of age event, marking a child's introduction into adulthood. The reason the admins reversed their decision is because that video provided proof that hiccup IS 18, no matter what you may think.

The admins have an obligation to the owners of the site, not to you, me, or anyone else who uses the site. The ToS for the site, says no underage humans allowed. Since Hiccup LOOKS under 18, and in most people's opinions, IS under 18, they had an obligation to remove said art. If they know a certain artist is posting objectionable art, then yes, they will watch that person's submissions. It's what they are supposed to do. Would it make you happier if FA got shut down due to violation of federal law pertaining to the portrayal of minors in sexual situations? Dragoneer could be fined or even JAILED if they allowed artwork that violates those laws. Given a LACK of evidence that the subject was over 18, they MUST assume the worst and operate on the side of caution.

The bottom line is this - you can argue all day long that "the man has it out for us!" but you have to remember that FA is here as a service to us. There are RULES that allow it to stay online. If you don't like the rules, go somewhere else. If you think you can do better, either become an admin or start your own site. But if all you can do is whine about it, well, I got a big block of cheese you can QQ into all night long.

I don't understand why the "age" of a fictional character matter in the first place. It's a silly concept, really. Like how it's not real, for starters, and it's basically just lines on paper. Those people care more about lines on paper rather than real abuse happening to real kids. x.x

It doesn't make sense to me either. For god sakes he looks like he's 14/15 but if Dreamworks say he's 18 then it's ok? By that logic there could be 22 year old character that looks 8 but it would still be allowed. The whole thing is stupid. Unless they're very clearly underage, there should be no problem. It's a fictional character for gods sake.
