Glad yo liked it. I put a huge amount of effort into it. Too bad it got a tiny fraction of attention as my adult work, especially compared to my extreme stuff.

I liked to result on that drawing that I made a quick slideshow http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4194958/ . I hoped it would help people by showing how I progressed from the initial sketch through the end. I love doing the shading parts as that make or break the drawing. When it works, I sometimes even amze myself. Not if I can do that more often.

I would be remiss if I didn't point out my wife,  razzek She draws lots of cartoony dragons!

John Howe. What I like about his dragons is their ancient feel and the difference to the mostly seen dragons. They are more serpent in mass and flow and just feel closest to what I would call I real dragon, without being the flimsy medieval things nor the cartony antromorph versions (sorry, dislike those) or dinosaurized ones. In general I like dragon artists who use their imagination on dragons in head and body form, who put a deeper thought and study in them (Akhana simply rocks at that). There were some other names drifting around, but these were the first that came to my mind.
