"Sooo..." Ninjutsu says as he sits down in one of the many chairs in the tardis, making sure he sat in it backwards so the raptor has access to his back. "Relax hon, its only going to take a minute." Toro pulls up the feline's shirt and hooks it over his shoulders, plucking an electric razor from one of the many little compartments around the TARDIS control console, and flicks the switch, the blades buzzing to life. The tiger shivers slightly as he heard the buzzing, he normaly not liking his fur cut, especially by an razor. The dino began to gently shave away a couple inches up and down Ninjutsu's broad, strong back, revealing the intricate design with a smile. "Mm, there it is."
That was an RP by me and
Torokumaru turned into a narrative. As you probably guessed it, the emblem that I had made for Toro (since he was way too busy at the time) has finally been implemented into my fursona. It is not a tattoo. Rather, its a design made by the pigmentation of my fur. So basically, its shown by my fur.
To get the design in the coloring of my fur, Toro had developed a virus that changed my DNA. He also had it affect segments of DNA that Ninju's remote doesn't affect with transformation. This means that the design is carries over to all the species that I may transform into. It took him a while, lots of trials (a bunch of funny results happened btw), and a fully equipped lab. Overall, the money, time and effort paid off.
Anyway you may ask why do this. Is there a point to all this hassle? To answer your question, yes there is a point to this. If you don't know by now, I am an honor guard to Toro. Its a master/pet relationship with benefits ;P The problem was with how to let people know I belong to him. Topics like wearing a collar or getting branded came up. Neither of those I like. I ended up compromising with Toro that i would design a tattoo for my back that included an emblem that he would provide. Unfortunately, he was flooded with work and he wasn't able to do it. I offered to draw his idea, and it came out awesome. So awesome that he decided that the emblem would be enough for him. Then came the task of implementing it....... which you know which way we decided to go (previous paragraph).
So kudos go out to Toro for being awesome. Kudos for me for being patient with Toro and his troubles.

Squee. :3 I have to say, I'm rather proud of the virus. Has a lot of body modification potential for furs and even humans. Genetic tattoos... *ponders* Makes family crests that much nicer. X3
