When I was 5, we have a house fire that decimated almost everything we owned and reduced the house to cinders. Even at that young, I haven't forgotten the outpouring of support that my family received. I'll see what I can do to repay the kindness.

You're not alone in that frustration. That is why I am inquiring about what specifically is still needed. TVs and video game systems are not needed. They are luxuries. Most everything else on the list I understand.

I wish I could spread the cheer for these guys but I'm having enough trouble trying to get my own life going and stable.

I wish I had a better feeling about this but as I've learned in my first hand experience of trying to help somebody will only get you burned.

We can help them but they need to help themselves. I don't mean to be cold or anything but my own experience with this has been cobra bite after cobra bite or seeing others get cobra bit.

I wish them well but it in the end has to be up to them as adults who jointly own a house. They have to have some money if they are living together in a house.
