Rolling out again (contest!)
So lately I haven't been arting much. In part this has been due to family stuff, and illness, but mostly because I've been looking into re-enrolling in school and taking my associates degree and turning it into a bachelors. So, once again, I find myself in need of financial assistance.
Foremost on my list is covering the application and enrollment fees, which varies depending on the school I get accepted to, as much as $500.
In this line of thinking, I am once again posting here about my need, and asking anyone who's willing to help out. And of course, it wouldn't be fair if I wasn't giving something in exchange, so here's the deal:
Each character: $10
Background/significant detail: $10-20
Animation: $20
New 3d character: extra time, $10
The above numbers represent each piece of what gets totalled in a comission, so an animation of 4 characters, two of which require me to make all new 3d models, having fun on a playground would total $90. Now before you freak out, keep in mind that you'll be asking me for a lot of work with such a large project, so look at this as a high mark.
I'm applying these numbers to 2d art as well, so if you want a more traditional image with Photoshop color and effects, that would be a less expensive alternative, since there's no new models I'd need to make.
Also, I'm running a contest with this. Referr as many people as you can to me. If you're reading this, wheather you're interested in helping me out financially or not, please join in on the contest! If you were referred here by someone else, send me a note saying who sent you here and get working on it yourself. The one who referrs the most people who note me wins a free commission, no-holds-barred. As many characters as you like, any format you want, animation, the whole thing totally free.
EDIT: Kiden was kind enough to give me space to show off a few samples.
