*lol* Yes, found that shortly after I commented here. Honestly, I've expected something like this to slam FA since the original decision to allow cub porn on the site. At the very least it ought to cut down on some of the creepy people watching me because I occasionally post cutesy stuff.

If AP walked off with that money, then that is also known as "theft", which no disclaimer or AUP can protect you from. Not even eBay flat-out steals the money, they just "lock" the account until the dispute is resolved.

The impression given was that AP had closed FAs account with them and the money in it was "lost". So either there's some clause in the contract signed that states funds default to AP in the event of whatever, or perhaps transactions have simply been reversed.
But I do not know, and I'm not particularly bothered to find out.

According to some folks in-the-know in the forum thread, the money is still there, it's just been "frozen" until the account is reopened, or the dispute is settled. As I thought, they can't just steal the money. They can tie it up, but they can't just steal it outright.

Now that Dragoneer is dumping CP, AlertPay will allow them to reopen the account.
