Christmas Wish List
Everyone else is doing one so might as well.
Step 1
Make a post in your journal containing your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple to really big. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
If you wish for real-life things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where folks could get in touch with you.
Step 2
Surf around other lists to see who has posted their list. If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream for free--do it. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call. There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special
Step 3
The List
1. References sheets for my various characters and my fiance's character too. http://moongara.deviantart.com/gall.....craps#/d264qmb
2. A permanent, non-seasonal job with the IRS (preferably working with actual adults...I know the odds of this second thing ever happening is slim to none)- My current job is seasonal and it drives me nuts because furlough is always lurking though I know I am extremely lucky to have any sort of a job. I know that "working with actual adults" is wishful thinking but I can always dream. (my current group of co-workers have taken to griping about the smell of fresh cauliflower...what else is there to say)
3. More art trades- I love trading, particularly projects that include complicated tack or other leather work
4. Jewelry supplies- metal for casting and more cast-in-place stones
5. To find another jewelry supplier other than Rio Grande- Rio Grande is great but it doesn't have everything, particularly looking for another supplier of synthetic/lab created stones (not sure what they properly called any more)
6. Some commissions- It would be nice both for my confidence and the money
7. Art of my characters
8. To be able to go to more conventions- I really enjoyed Furry Fiesta last year (despite being fuzz-skulled most of the time) and I would love to go to other conventions as well as Furry Fiesta. I am going to try to fit a couple more into my schedule and my budget. Any hints on conventions to go to, preferably within easy driving distance of Austin, TX (easy driving distance...16 hours or less) and ways to go on a budget.
9. Asurea to have a very good Christmas sales season- Anyone in the greater Austin area, if you need a new cellphone, please go to him (note me if you are interested where he works)
10. To have the local Post Office actually deliver packages on time- I have had to start having packages sent to me tracked so I know when it actually arrives at the Post Office and, when it isn't delivered to my PO Box, go in and rattle their cage. Its taken me upwards to two weeks to get an item sent Priority (2 to 3 day) delivered. I have a PO Box for security reasons (I don't want art left at the my front door), any suggestions other than package tracking?

www.oklacon.com
www.wildnights.org
Both are in Oklahoma and are extremely affordable. They're the only two cons I attend, cuz they're easy on the wallet and also outdoor/camping style cons. Oklacon is at the end of October and Wild Nights is at the end of April...the dates usually vary a little but worth looking into if you're wanting new cons to check out. :)
