Does anyone like Folk Music? "Emergency CD sales"
Andre "The Gypsy" Girard, a local musician here in Vancouver who has been a mainstay, playing here in gastown and granville street for over 30 years of whom I'm personally a big fan. has just become homeles; Andre is an extremely talented singer/songwriter, Probably the best amongst the other Buskers around here, without him it would be nothing but Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd covers, A far less interesting place.
He is in his 60s, has serious medical issues and really shouldn't be stuck outside during winter, I thought one way I could help was try to sell his CDs online for him,
Cd includes 10 tracks, 8 originals, 2 covers "Ive got a name, Jim Croce","Mr Bojangles, JJ Walker"
$5 for ISO image download
$10 for physical cd including shipping within north america, each cd will be personally signed by Andre.
Anyone interested please note me, or comment here and Ill set it up for you.
Thanks for your time everyone!
a sample "albeit low quality" of his work

I love folk music, and I'm also in no position to be spending money before I even have it...
But I want a cd. He's too good not to support, and if I can do anything to help such a talented man, I'll try.
I mean 9/10ths of grateful dead tracks on youtube are HORRIBLE quality
I think I heard about this talented musician, too.
Also, do you listen to The Fox? Random question from another Canadian. >3>
, if you happen to see him hes usually by the Starbucks in gastown you should toss him a few dollars if you can, apparently the housing assistance people are on holiday till next week, so hopefully once they get back he could get some proper help.
And sadly I haven't been to any of the Vancouver meets. I have been to Vancouver quite a few times, but I live on the island just across. I'm a boat trip away from the place but love any time I get to spend there.
This musician fellow has been talked about all the way over here, though. So he's made an impact outside of the city. o3o
And their morning show is funniest, but usually when they're not talking about sports.
