"POP!" goes the door to Day 9!
This cartoon is unusual for Warner Bros. in that the music was not composed specifically for it. Instead, it features what would become the standard "needle drop" cues that would later be used by Hanna-Barbera throughout the `60's.
I always especially liked the scene where the Weasel encounters the giant Foghorn ice statue:

Warner did at least experiment with new techniques. Those "needle-drops" just didn't compare with Carl Stallings's arrangements, though. Just like the later, limited animation Coyote and Roadrunner shorts worked, but they didn't look as nice as the earlier, full animation cartoons. *snicker* Foggy is such a stinker! IIRC, he almost always ended up getting the worst of his adventures. Thanks for finding these!
