Collegiates pre-orders are on!
Have you...
UPDATE: Our website is up! Go to --> http://squishyfrogstudios.com <-- You'll be able to order the game from the Store page! You do still need to set up an AlertPay account until our site verification is complete.
With the engine functional and art coming in, it's time to start the preorders. Remember that the first 25 preorders will receive a small cameo in the game. We also appreciate donations (your money helps fund the games' development), and will reward any donations of more than $10 (above the cost of the game) with a much larger cameo, like a secondary character (roommate, teacher, etc).
We will be using money earned from preorders to set up web hosting that can support the bandwidth requirements of game hosting (it's expensive, which is why we don't currently have a site).
WHAT DOES A PREORDER GET ME?
When you preorder a Squishy Frog Studios game, you get a guaranteed finished product first and foremost. You will get a SquishyFrogStudios account, which you will use to access your unique key that unlocks the final game. Your SFS account will also give you access to alpha and beta versions of the game to test (and report bugs). Finally, you get the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping an up-and-coming studio produce quality games for you to play.
Here are a few reasons you should use AlertPay (even and especially if you already have a PayPal account):
1) AlertPay does not use moral value judgements in determining "acceptable content". Their EULA is based entirely on the legal status of the material you are selling/buying. PayPal does not allow you to buy/sell digital adult products using their service—AletPay does, making it the furry's digital money service of choice. (Note: AlertPay did temporarily drop FurAffinity due to cub pornography; it's important to note that child pornography of any nature is in very shaky legal ground and therefore it was in both AlertPay and FA's best interest to drop it)
2) PayPal abuses its power. Whatever side you take on the WikiLeaks situation, it is hardly a reason for PayPal to suddenly freeze the site's assets, especially since no legal action has been taken by the government against WikiLeaks and therefore nothing illegal was actually perpetrated by the company. It was a blatant ass-covering (or perhaps even a vicious strike); do you really want your money in the hands of that kind of company?

To answer you unasked question: make sure you set up an AlertPay account if you want to pay us. Using AlertPay is the same as PayPal. Make sure you use the referral link: https://www.alertpay.com/?ycqiJQy%2.....hli94rCA%3d%3d
Electronic money transfers require an electronic source of funds. If you have a checking account with a bank, your bank card should be usable (most use Visa or Mastercard). If you don't have a checking account with a bank, you should look into getting one—many banks offer free checking accounts, and the best banks don't attach any strings (like minimum balances and such). Everybody is eligible for a checking account, as long as they have the cash to put into it to open it.
Hell yes I'm pre-ordering this.
Also, is the Donation Incentive thing still going? I'd like to pre-order both games, as well as drop an extra 15 or so donation if it's still going.
It will take a small while for the credit-card to be attached though, or so I assume. But at the latest tomorrow. Keep up the amazing work, all of you.
I sent an email to you. not sure if you got it.
anyways,
how many pre orders do you have already?
if its not important or anything :3
And we did get your e-mail.
ohk cool. feel free to add me on msn if you wish to chat.
Will this game ever be available to any other method in the future? Or if not, would the beta ever be available here?
I'd really love to support you by ordering those games, but with the fees making up more than the actual game, that's kinda hard for me to do.
So, can I interpret the sentence "You do still need to set up an AlertPay account until our site verification is complete." the way that at some point other payments will be possible, when whatever verification is complete, or will you stick with only AlertPay as payment processor?
Well, no matter what, good luck with your project, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
Greetings,

That said, when AlertPay finishes negotiations with their bank to provide service to adult content providers, we will be able to accept direct credit card payments through our website rather than require you to open an AlertPay account to send us money. However, again I must stress that if you have a card to pay us with, you can use AlertPay by attaching the card to your account just like you would with PayPal.
Finally, in America at least, there are two deposit/withdrawal options: bank transfer and bank wire. Bank wires cost a $20 fee here as well, because AlertPay must use a wire service to send/retrieve the money. However, a bank transfer has a much, much lower fee (the most we've been charged is $.50) because it's a direct communication with your bank. You should be able to use the bank transfer in Germany unless banks operate on a completely different system there, but let me stress again that you shouldn't need to if you attach your card to your AlertPay account and send direct payment.
For further questions, please contact AlertPay's help desk.
Best wishes to your projects, greetings,
RealZero
Credit card only some virtual prepaid thing (Credit cards don't seem to be very popular around here), thus it require me to make a payment to that credit card first, and then, over Alertpay, to you, so, this'll be the last thing I'll try, if no other methods work out.
I wouldn't know how to add a regular debit card as the AlertPay interface only allows me to add Visa, MasterCard and AmEx, but as I said, I'll first try the regular bank transfer, if that works out I can spare myself from the whole card-issues.
Thanks for your support on this, though, you can expect my order once I sort all this stuff out within the next two days or something.^^
Greetings,
RealZero
I've done a scam search just now myself and what I've found is that the majority of people suggesting that AlertPay is a scam are people who have had a rough time with AlertPay because it's a fledgeling company. To that effect, we had a bit of trouble getting off the block with them ourselves, because of our adult content, but after a bit of work we're on the up and up. Trust you me, if it were a scam, we'd know it by now and certainly wouldn't suggest that you use it.
The most important thing though, is that you can buy and sell adult content with AlertPay, and you cannot do so with PayPal without risking them suddenly freezing your account, and the accounts of others you've done business with, if they somehow get wind of it.
My fiancee said alertpay isn't good because of the cubby stuff....even though that isn't my bag.
Anyways, with alertpay, you said it's a Canada base company, would someone in another country be able to use it?
As far as cub material, AlertPay does not allow you to use their services for anything illegal (cub porn, like all adult artwork involving underage characters, is in a dangerous legal grey area that businesses just regard as "illegal"). So AlertPay's decision regarding cub material isn't about moral high-roading so much as about the legal ramifications of the material.
And what software can it run on?
