furries + anatomy = lulzYou may ask why I've got such a negative journal title - well, I don't really hate Dragoneer or his crew, even so, there will be people who will decide to take action against Dragoneer and the FA "technical" crew for allowing the recent hacking attempt (Which was successful) to leak the past 3 years of private notes and discussions that Dragoneer (amongst other mods) had with the members of the site. Even if no one takes action against Dragoneer, it will still impact on the site's (And the moderators') future, negatively that is.
Now, keeping in mind the title of this journal, you can be sued for either leaking the information in the first place (Aka, those hackers if found out will be most likely sued if anyone presses charges) or allowing the information to be leaked by having improper/unsafe/inadequate security measures.
Also, keep in mind that initially Dragoneer lied about the leak and claimed that it was only one account that was compromised - So this only adds to the repercussions and possible consequences that may follow.
"Oh noes! My private infos and sekrits have been revealed to the public! How dar u Dragoneer for not doing anything about it!"
Here's a story where one victim has been attacked by someone who disclosed personal information, much like Dragoneer and technical crew allowed the database to be hacked, and in effect allowed the hackers to leak the secret information and such. The victim then continued to sue her attacker.

That article you posted, the doctors seem to have sold the information to the media. They weren't targeted by hackers or had the information stolen from them. That's like ignoring the thief who broke into your house and blaming someone else entirely for the thief breaking in and stealing your stuff!
Also, people should know better then to post stupid shit on the internet. And by stupid shit, I mean personal information. One should never, NEVER put private information on the internet, because guess what? It's just not safe on here! Any site, ANY site can be hacked! Why do you think the government keeps it's security measures up to date, hires the latest and brightest minds to prevent hacking attempts. Or! You could just do what some companies do, and keep all of your private information on servers that are NOT connected to the internet! Because as soon as you put the information out there, it can be taken.
And before you attack me for supporting Zaush or whoever, I do NOT condone their actions. However, I do feel that everything is being blown out of proportion about this. Was it wrong that it happened? yes. But guess what, it's done and over with now. Zaush probably isn't comming back here anyway, so can we all just move on with our lives? Ad really... if I haven't said it enough, even THINKING about suing Dragoneer or the mods of this site is just a laughable idea.
