A couple of days ago one of my friends,
einsmann was banned out of the blue - I contacted him through email, and he told me that he got no explanation as to why he was banned. His front page is completely void of any details as to why he was banned (As moderators are obliged to add the redtext there to describe the reasons behind the user's banning so that they may appeal to it/so that the people see why the user was banned, what for, and how to avoid earning the same ban).
I can list off two separate incidences where I have been banned for no reason, the call sign for the second ban (the first mistaken ban did not have redtext, the second did have redtext, but the information/reason as to why I was banned is false) was that I was banned for "hating on homosexuals" when I was in fact fighting against religious extremists that were projecting the hate themselves (You can read up on that here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/1826849/)
Not on moderators, not on. Not only is one of your staff (Or more, it really needs to be looked upon) incompetent when it comes to knowing the truth, and therefore thinks he/she has the rights to ban whoever, the incompetent mod also fails to add the required redtext to describe the reason/s behind the user being banned.
If the user was banned for an actual reason, POST THE REASON IN RED TEXT/OR you can choose to act properly, and behave like the mature staff you aught to be acting like and send an email to the user who was banned, and explain to him why he "deserved" it.

I've seen many people being banned for stupid reasons lately (or no reasons at all)
I myself got banned last week for suggesting that an emo kid was just looking for attention >:T
