How It Works
First off, you'll need to Note me with the details for your commission. Please let me know if you'd like something more in the animalistic anatomy or humanistic anatomy vein.
With sketches... well, that's it. You get a sketch. If you're requesting something in color, I will show you the initial sketch, make what revisions you ask for and show you again to make sure it's all right. Once we've got the sketch right, I'll ink and flat-color the piece. I will then show you this to make sure the colors/patterns are all right. Then, I will shade/texturize/backgrounderize the piece accordingly.
While I am more optimistic with regard to people paying for my work than some, I will expect Full Payment Upfront for sketches. This means that if you're getting a sketch, I will not start it until I see the money. For color, I will send you the rough sketch for review and ask you to pay me at that time. I will not start inks/colors until the money is sent. I've set up a PayPal account for payments and will give you the address to send to when it comes time for it.
Prices
As a general rule of thumb:
Complex Background - Additional $5-10 ($5 Example, $10 Example)
Sketch - $10 (+$5 for each additional character) (Example 1, Example 2, Example 3)
Bust (Digital Color) - $25 (Example 1, Example 2)
Full Body (Digital Color) - $50 (+$10 for each additional character) (Example 1, Example 2, Example 3)
Other - Varies (we can discuss what you'd like, and I'll give you a price)
Things I'll Happily Do
- Humans. I can vary from more realistic to more cartoonish depending on your preference.
- Quads. Since it came up in one of my commissions, yes. I can do quads.
- Birds/things with feathers. Take a look at my gallery, and you'll notice a fair few feathery fiends flitting about.
- Couples pics. I actually love doing these, whatever the gender of the participants.
- Fanart for various shows, provided you have references.
Limits
- I WILL NOT do porn. Sorry, but it's not my thing. Non-explicit and humorous nudes are okay, but genitalia will not be appearing on my cartoons.
- Mech/robots. Some metallic objects (like a sword) are fine, but more than that is generally beyond my skill level.
