Sled Dog Tour Company Slaughtered 100 dogs...

100 Sled Dogs were slaughtered in Whistler after a tour company had a time of slow business, not euthanised...Slaughtered, either by shooting or slicing the throat
I've signed this petition to make sure this company see's justice.
I don't ask much of the community, but if you think this is as wrong as i do, you'll sign the bloody thing

Of course, knowing the Canadian Judicial System, they're probably going to get away with a slap on the wrist, a hefty fine, and a judge waving their finger in their face saying "Don't do that again".
I heard about this on the radio.
Its just sick and sad :/

At least the guy tried to rehome, then properly euthanize them first, but still, that doesn't condone what he did in the end. The full story is beyond sick. It's like something out of a movie. I doubt I'll ever look at sleddng the same again, nor the tourism industry in my own city.
The worst part? If he had killed them all immediately, it wouldn't be illegal.
FYI, the company that carried out the cull was NOT the one named in the petition. That is the company that currently owns the company that did the culling, and yes, who still employs the person who carried it out. Still, it is not the same, and Outdoor Adventures actually claim to not have supported that action, for what it's worth. Hopefully there is a line drawn in showing this since the company, Outdoor Adventures Whistler, is not the company who carried out the cull.
