Well, due to unforseen issues, Tavi and I (like the rest of America) have been having money issues. We've decided to move, but not so far away this time. So at least the moving costs will be cheaper, but that doesn't mean they are cheap. We thought we would have it covered since we would not have to pay rent during the last month, but I've had to compensate by paying renta bit later than usual, which has resulted in our money situation being up in the air as far as moving goes.

I hate asking because it makes me feel like a mooch or freeloader. I know we have very close and loving friends, but I also know that most of us are having money problems due to the sucky economy. We are going to need at least $200-$300 for the move, and I'm not sure what I have left after the rent and bills will cover it. Tavi is doing his best (and then some) with his art commissions, but I'm not sure if it will be enough when it comes down to the wire. We have a lot to pack up, but at least a lot of it is already in boxes. Some stuff can't or won't be moving with us, and that's okay since it cuts our load down. Tavi has tried to get a job in the past, but always gets turned down for being "over qualified." Its too late for that now anyway, since there is only one month left and no one will hire someone for just a month or less. I've tried every way I can think of to save money, but it just hasn't been enough. We always seem to run out right at the end of the month, and that is when we plan to move next month. So I'm just worried our finances won't hold out. Its either ask for donations or just not pay the final month's bills.

I am not sure how my Social Security will be affected after the move, but as long as it still comes in, I should be able to repay a small loan. I know a lot of our friends have helped us out in the past, and we are still very greatful for that. I'm not expecting a lot, and I can't count on this working, but I have to at least try. Again, I'm sorry for having to ask for money help again, but times are tough for everyone. We understand if you cannot help, but we still appreciate the thought.
