Directions to the Old Zoo And Other Info Please Read!

Hey Everyone,
I visited the park/old zoo today. I realized it could be extremely confusing to find directions to the location with Yelp [ http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-old-zoo.....-los-angeles-2 ]. I got pictures and a map as to help everyone with directions. Read to the bottom for other info!!!
I STRONGLY URGE YOU TO PRINT THIS OUT TO TAKE WITH YOU!
Landmark Directions:
When you are on Los Feliz Blvd. look out for the big fountain at Crystal Springs Dr/ Riverside Dr. Go Towards Crystal Springs Dr/ the hills. Continue on the North road for about a mile until you get to the main park area. Follow signs to the Merry-go-Round(left). You will come to Merry-go-Round Lot 1, Drive thru Lot 1 to catch a short road to Lot 2, PARK THERE at Lot 2!
Your GPS, if routing to the address provided above will want you to turn right toward the merry go round. Go LEFT towards the playground into parking lot one, and drive through it to parking lot two. You must drive through it.

Now to get to the meet site you will have to take a small walk/hike.
Go thru these gates

Make a left turn and follow the path with the mom and baby between the big rock and the sign

Keep going until you reach the walkway and the stairs. You may go up ether but the left pathway is less steep!

From the top of the pathway you will see this sign and our picnic/ photo area.

We will try to get this spot.(Its the only one with picnic tables in an enclosure!)

Now there’s a little update on what you should/shouldn’t bring!
Walking shoes, because the area is dirt/mud it may mess up your fur paws. Our exploring the zoo takes a bit of hike/walking.
There is NO BBQ in the area we are in. Sorry!
There is also a restroom very close!
Please remember to bring your own lunch as well as optional communal food. Also bring WATER if your in suit!
Maybe bring a light jacket/hoodie. As the weather could drop when it gets later.
Just incase you get lost and need to contact someone at the meet, please NOTE this account for Cookie’s private cell number! Remember this is Cookie’s private cellphone so do not call or text it for anything else except on the day of the meet up! (She will be very very very mad if you bug her!)
