First things first. Um. I totally phailed in keeping communications going on about the Fur Meet for Wine Country Furs Fur Meet this afternoon in Murrieta, CA at the Cal Oaks Sports Park. texted and called my Cell, with no chance of getting a hold of me because I have decided to leave my cell phone in my purse when at work because my Boss is very anal about that detail. And I'm now and again in and out of a Walk In Fridge/Freezer a good part of the 4, 4 1/2 to 5 hours a day I work. So I try and avoid my cell being in my work pant's pocket so it doesn't get ruined.

Secondly, the Fur Meet for this afternoon was Cancelled after there were apparently NO SHOWS at the Park and the Weather was putting it out of commission. We had High Desert winds picking up around this morning/afternoon. Which put us out of joint, at least from what I've heard from For the future, we are changing this.

-Location for the Meet as of May 9, 2011 1:30-5:30 p.m. has been changed from Cal Oaks Sports Park to Ronald Regan (rock & roll) Sports Park in Temecula off of Margarita.

Thirdly, since I have become in a way, a coordinator for getting interests from people who might want to attend. I'm planning on putting out word as early as early/mid April to the Yahoo Group: SoCalFurs so that it gets out soon enough for people to know of it, and include my personal Email Address for those who don't have an Account on here. As well as my Profile Link to my Profile on here for those who do have a FurAffinity Account.

-The week before it hits 2 weeks till the Meet, I will be sending out Notes to FA Users who have shown interest, and Emails to those who Email me their Interest in the Meet, to let you know I will be getting in touch again the following week to seek your "Yes" or "No" RSVP about the Meet on May 9th.

As it stands, the Meet will be the same time, but different location. And so far, it'll still be a Potluck event.

If you find that you are unable to make it due to:
-Financial obligation
-Gas prices
-Work
-Family crisis/obligation
-Prior commitments
or any other known reasonings as to what make it near impossible.

As has put into his latest Journal; if you want to do so, please send him or I a Note related to the Meet w/your Cell phone number so that we may either A) Call or B) Text you between now and the Meet to assure you are going to be in attendance. would really like to make this Meet work out and it only is possible if individuals are able/willing to make the trip out.

Note: When you sending me your Cell number over a Note, I can not send out Text messages, but I may be calling you the evening before the Meet, alongside the Email/Notes to assure to that you will be in attendance so he knows who all to expect.
