Here are the Terms of Service for commissioning me. Sections marked with an asterisk (*) are required reading for anyone buying a commission.
Though I’m very understanding and will help any buyer in any way I can, I will not waver from my base rules for any reason. Most artists have experienced being shafted after long hours of hard work, and I have recently had my first encounter with theft. Sorry if my rules are too harsh: not changing them for anyone.
**I retain the right to do or refuse to do any commission, for any reason, at any time.** If payment has been sent before my refusal, you will be issued a full refund.
*I AM A CLEAN ARTIST.
Things I don’t do:
-pornography
-fetishes, including;
-diapers (I don’t draw diapers. Ever. Even if the image is otherwise innocent)
-macro (I draw muscular figures, within reason.)
-hyper (No. Just no.)
-nudes will never have “bits”
-copyrighted characters. I like doing fanart, but am not interested in being sued for profiting from them.
-I will draw your character dressed as a certain character. That is ok.
Things I do gladly:
-most types of violence
-does not include suicide, hate crimes, abuse of a minor or gf/bf/wife/husband
*PAYMENT:
I WILL NOT BEGIN YOUR COMMISSION UNTIL I RECEIVE FULL PAYMENT.
I will quote you a price after we have discussed what you want me to draw (based on price list below), and I will include my Paypal address.
I will not chase after you for payment. If you want your commission to be started, it's on you to send payment after I send my price quote.
I do not discount prices for anyone unless I post a sale in a journal.
ALWAYS INCLUDE YOUR FA USERNAME IN PAYPAL CORRESPONDENCE.
*REFUNDS:
I’ll gladly give refunds to anyone wanting one, within reason. If I’m already half way finished with your commission, I’ll refund half. If I’ve already finished, I won’t. Always have an idea of what you want ahead of time and take advantage of my offer for regular updates.
*DEADLINES AND COMMUNICATION:
I am not a professional artist. I don’t tend to sit and complete a drawing in one sitting. I am busy, so I do not set deadlines. When I accept your commission I'll give you an estimated time that I'll be finished, but that is in no way a deadline.
I like giving regular updates on commissions, so if you’re up for that let me know if you want notes or e-mails. I can do instant messaging as well if you have AIM, MSN, Yahoo!, or Skype. My screen names are on my front page. (Note me for Yahoo! And Skype usernames)

Add $5 for a background that is not a few solid colors (this is subject to change depending on the complexity of the desired background)

Plushes:
IMPORANT: If you’re buying a custom plush, here’s how it’s going to work-
After you let me know you want one, I will go out to hunt down your colors. Believe it or not, yarn is not made in every color of the rainbow. If your colors are basic like plain reds, yellows, or blues, it’s a safe bet I’ll be able to find them, but just to be sure, I will send you a picture of the colors I have found if they don’t match perfectly. You can decide whether or not they are acceptable. More colors are available in online stores, but if I cannot find your colors in standard craft stores, and the colors I find are not to your liking, the cost of the plush will go up for $2 each color I have to order online (approx. the cost of shipping for most online stores on a skein of yarn). Then plushes take around 2 weeks to complete if I’m not working on something else additionally.
Crochet commission prices:
Crochet plushes are priced hourly, and include the cost of yarn. A shipping cost of $5 may be added to international orders.
-Keychain size (roughly 4 ½”): $15
-General pattern (roughly 10”): $30

I'd be willing to do a ref sheet for you, but the price will depend on a couple of different things. How large you want it to be, or how many iterations of your character will be on it (whether front, back, side, face close-up, markings close-up etc.) Generally I treat something like a ref sheet as each iteration is a separate character, so multiple character prices, or full body + bust prices in color will apply.
I've done ref sheets for people without examples to go off of before, so don't worry. I'll be in communication with you pretty frequently about changes that should be made. Basically give me as much detail as you can in your description of the character for me to start with and we'll go from there.
I don't know if you've read more recent journals about commissions, but a few of my rules have changed. The only major one is I don't require full payment up-front, only half.
The description is as follows (and is ripped from my character's descriptions in an RP forum/parts of the book I'm writing) as follows:
First: He sits at 6 foot, bristling with muscles. Horns the size of your legs sprout from his noble head, stradling his face like support beams. A large silver ring hangs, suspended from his nose, laced with intricate carvings of ivy and leaves entwined and folded together into celtic knotwork. Large black spots mar an otherwise pristine white hide; tough and leathery, yet firm and somewhat comforting. He wears no shirt, instead preferring to let the warm summer air bathe his skin and face while roaming wild in the grasslands. His tattered black breaches hang from his waist and hug his thick legs like stray strands of thread clinging to the trunk of an oak, thrashed by the wind in a huricane. Hooves terminate his legs; dark like obsidion but shining in the light like smooth glass.
As you sit there, stunned, he not so much stands as pushes the floor further down. The ease at which he moves his bulk is startling, but what stands out is a gleaming claymore strapped to his back with white silk ropes linked together with golden rings. As you watch him fade back through the doorway, you think you catch a glimpse of tattoos in the shape of angels wings behind the massive weapon
Second: Stands 6 foot tall, white hide with black spots. Bare-chested with tattered black breaches. Scars mar his thick hide, especially large claw marks down his back. A tattoo of feathery wings covers his entire back in an attempt to cover the worst of the scars. The tattoo glows silver and is the point from which his spectral dragon wings sprout. Think black horns sprout from his forehead, sweaping back and curling under his ears, ending in bright silver tips. Large muscular arms and legs protrude from his barrel-sized chest. Black hooves terminate his legs, shining as if pollished obsidion. The nails of his hands shine with veins of silver.
