Who wants a free tail, or some free art!?
14 years ago
Whoever posts a link to my journal here: (link) and leaves it up for 48 hours will be entered into a drawing to win a free custom tail OR a free bust badge (by quaylak) of their character.Please make sure that the journal or the title of the journal indicates that the readers can get a free tail or free art, as this seems to be the most effective way to spread the word. Leave a comment here (not on the other journal!) if you want to participate, telling me when your journal is posted. If a significant number of people participate, I may offer more than one prize.
Chance at a free tail or free art, just by spreading some information. Good deal, right??
I'm sure some of you had to have read my last journal. I was surprised and disheartened by the lack of response. I am not someone who asks for help or charity for my own personal gain. I am trying to organize a charity event for disaster relief, and as far as I can tell, not a single one of my nearly 400 watchers read or linked to that journal. I have seen the way this community can come together to help others. I've seen support for people who need surgery, or just need to pay their vet/medical/unexpected bills. I know that we as a community can accomplish a lot if we really get the word out and get things moving. This is to help hundreds of thousands of people all around the world. This is to help men, women, and children who have lost everything important in their lives, including their loved ones. If this community can get together to help just ONE person, we should certainly be willing to help thousands! :)
If you do not want to participate in the charity auction, remember that there are other ways to donate to help with the disaster relief efforts:
NetworkForGood.org
Save The Children
Mercy Corps
Singapore Red Cross (multiple charities linked on their site)
Artists Help Japan and Give2Asia.org
Google Crisis Response to benefit the Japanese Red Cross Society (link), International Medical Corps, Unicef, or Save The Children
Strictly Secular Donations:
foundationbeyondbelief.org/
SHARE
Doctors Without Borders
International Relief Teams
AmeriCares
Humanist Charities
Direct Relief International
Remember that in this situation, it is best to donate money rather than supplies, as the shipping cost of item donation makes things difficult. It is much easier to send money to the aid workers and organizations on location, so that items can be obtained abroad.

I also posted on your previous journal.. I'm so sorry I didn't see it before.
And I'm so shamed to admit that I did notice this one first, and I'm posting on this one in the first place. :X
And feel free to mention to others that they can repost for a chance to get a tail, as well. :)

I reposted this, but not so much for tail as much as to get it known. But a free tail is always nice, too.
Posted, it would be cool to get a tail of my 'sona, but helping is great too :D <3
Posted, as well as signed up to participate
Just made it, but it'll stay there for 48hs for sure. Posting here now cause im pretty sure I'll forget later >_>;
Here is my journal and thank you for the offer!
I'm not sure if I want to participate though... I don't feel like my art is good enough compared to other people entering ;A;
*scurries off to practice*
I reposted as well! ;) http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2188066/
Thanks for doing this.
I'm sorry I missed the first journal. This wasn't out of a sense to get free stuff, but more because you said no one reposted for you! It's a cause that's dear to my heart, and I'm going to do something too (although I don't think I'll get it done by the auction deadline though, so I'm doing my own thing...)

No one responded sadly. :C
I wish I could add to the auction myself but I have a backlog of commissions and I am really busy with my fulltime job. >.<
I did however donate already. :P
