My favorite comics

I'd like to take a moment to share a few of my favorite web comics with you all. All these comics have supurb art(except the stick figure ones, which hold their own on comedy alone), so you won't be seeing any eyesores here. I have a small list on my website, but since I try to keep that site G-rated, I had to leave out a few. Since I use my FA account as the overflow for more adult or teen stuff, here goes, in alphabetical order:
Bear Nuts by Alison Acton.
Bears behaving badly in a zoo. Colorful, cuddly, and crazy.
Better Days by Jay Naylor. (FA page)
A cool furry comic about a brother and sister growing up, and their sex lives.
Buttersafe by Alex Culang and Raynato Castro.
A stick figure comic with randomness galore.
Dandy and Company by Derrick Fish.
Furry comic about a dog who just recently spent some time as a demon playing practical jokes on everybody.
Doc Rat by Jenner.
Furry comic about a rat who's a doctor. Contains plenty of medical, language, and Aussie humor.
Fuzzy Things by Jonathan Sario.
Furry comic about a bunch of school kids who live in some kind of futuristic world and try to deal with each other.
Intrepid Girlbot by Diana Nock.
A robot, and a strange raccoon.
Lackadaisy Cats by Tracy J Butler.
Furry comic set in the United States' prohibition times(1930's, when alcohol was outlawed), at a speak-easy. Completely sepia-toned. Not updated often, but they're some pretty big comics, too.
Ozy and Millie by D.C. Simpson (FA page)
Furry comic featuring foxes philosophizing about french fries and life in general.
Pinkerton Park by Mike Witmer.
Furry comic about booze-happy critters in a state park. Gotta say, this is my current favorite.
Sheldon by Dave Kellett.
A comic about a billionaire boy, his duck, the duck's lizard son, and the grandfather that raises them.
Silent Kimbly by Ryan Sias.
A warm and fuzzy pun-filled comic with Tenderness, Cruelness, and a bunch of other characters.
Sister Claire by Yamino
Pregnant nun? Holy crap! Awesome manga-ish art, hilarious. Sense of humor required.
South Pole by Mike Bonales. An arctic fox and polar bear from Greenland, plus a penguin from an Australian zoo... in Antarctica. Cute, funny, and comes in two different flavors: English and Spanish.
This comic has ended, but I do recommend cruising the archives.
Steal This Comic by Carlisle Devonish
Features a functioning alcoholic and his gay dog named King.
The Book Of Biff by Chris Hallbeck.
Comic where Biff realizes... *splat!*
The Abominable Charles Christopher by Karl Kerschl
Sasquatch and tons of VERY well-drawn forest critters. I often go to this comic for reference pictures of skunks. *Thumbs up!*
Wondermark by David Malki.
An illustrated jocularity using art from really old books.
XKCD by Randall Munroe.
A stick figure comic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language.
Also, some nifty sites with awesome tips for web cartoonists:
Webcomics Weekly
Podcast hosted by some big names in webcomics(like Sheldon artist Dave Kellett) with tips on art, techniques, tools, and the business of web cartooning.
Webcomics.com
Made by the same folks who do Webcomics Weekly. Treasure trove of tips for webcartoonists.
Webcomic Triage
Blog with visuals. Especially helpful with word bubbles and placement. (hasn't updated in a while)
That's the list so far. If any of these artists have a FA account that I don't know about, please let me know! If a link is broken, let me know! If any info is wrong, let me know! I plan on updating this entry as time goes on. I've started occasionally drawing scenes from these comics for practice and putting them in my scraps. Good way to pick up new techniques.
I hope I've helped you find a few new favorite web comics now!

OP
That list would be unwieldy, and wouldn't drop many of these comics. I may still work on a new list sometime for the new account... or maybe I'll just eat a cookie. Also, this listing was last updated in 2009, so it's not as bad as the post date makes it sound.
