So... what I was saying about "please buy commissions, I don't wanna have to eat Tabby!"
As it turns out she has a bit of a lumpet that has just flared up on her chin in the last week-odd and was continuing to grow with each passing day, so it was decided by the house to take her to the vet.
Now I know such an occasion was not going to be cheap, and was budgeting for the rough 400$ that the lady @ the front desk told us be... on the 'upper side'.
But taking her in today, I've had to sign a small piece of paper than says the surgery will be in the 700$'s.... if the lump isn't moar severe once they take put her under and take a better look. \:'[
As it stands I just sunk a rather big chunk into registering my car for Victorian roads for 600$ last week.. I'm able to scrape by just on the commissions that people are nice enough to buy from me, but big costs like this really throw out that delicately teetering balance..
I think I may have to hold an emergency auction otherwise I just wont be able to make rent in 2weeks~

It will probably take a few days for my tranfer to process but when it does I'll put in for some doodles.
But it boggles my mind that you're having to pay $400-$700 for the removal of what is most likely a CYST that could be taken care of with antibiotics??? Wallet-raep I say!
I know how you feel, as well. I've been living with a bunch of sweet little kitties for my whole life, and its just terrible when something comes up and you've got to get them checked out.
