So the big question: Do I RP?

kompy...okay so the real 'big' question is "do I still draw?' , but the answer to that it's still being developed -- I still draw, I just haven't have the drive to yet, even though I have trades pending. I'm taking summer off, though, which means I have to work on that, though!
Anyway. RP. Do I do it? Sometimes, via AIM, which you can find in my contact info in the main page of this account should you feel inclined to. I have other means of RP as well, but in this case I'm talking PCA-themed games, which I do this way for the most part.
So, you might be asking, is there anything I should know about how you are to RPing? Well there are a few, though hopefully not so many as to be intimidating. I'm a lot of things but hopefully I'm approachable at least! So anyway, here's some things to know if you're new to RPing with me or have done so in the past and want to have a better idea on how I work:
-First thing to know is that I'm pretty dang shy, so don't be offended if I never call you up myself unless an idea strikes or something else happens that I need to catch your attention. On the other hand, if I'm on AIM, that usually means I'm available. I'll probably be slow to respond, though, as I'm a bit absent-minded at times.
-If you're new (or if I haven't talked to you in forever), for the love of Arceus, let me know who you are, even if it's just your FA nickname and who your characters are!
-I ideally play with people I'm at least a bit close to or that I feel comfortable with, so before we jump in on the RP, I'd prefer small talk and character brainstorming before anything else. Also I tend to ramble a lot if left to talk about my characters or whatnot, so consider yourself warned.
-My RP style is very simplistic -- a few bits of prose-like description and more focus on dialogue. I like grammar, even though I might mess up at times (though you're free to correct me, just don't get carried away). Do I expect my partner to play the same way? It's ideal, but not necessary.
-I'm a slow typer. Please be patient, I WILL reply to you if I can, though I don't appreciate getting rushed when I'm RPing.
-Do I do non-G-rated games? Yyyyyyes, but only with people I'm close to and only if there's a plotline to go with that...higher rating, so don't even think of just looking to me for cyber - I don't play that way, yo.
-Most of my student characters are available for play, though I'll probably be more willing to use my veterans (Team Crossroads, in this case) as I'm more used to using them. Also worth noting, I'm fine with you wanting to have your character date one of mine or be related to one of mine, but note I will bug you with information and whatnot if you do.
-I feel like a jerk saying this, but there's always a chance I may not want to RP with you at some point. Don't think it's your fault, often it means I'm not in an RP mood or I just want to chat a bit more first, or I'm busy. Pushing me into RP doesn't help and in fact may make things worse. If you take things so far as to start insulting me, I may even block you. Luckily, this doesn't happen often.
-If all you want is more info on how to do things in PCA or whatnot, you're free to ask me stuff, but keep in mind that I AM NOT AN ADMIN and such I can only give either opinions or the most basic of info.
That should cover the gist of it. You're free to ask me more, of course, either here or in AIM. Oh, and if all you want to do is say hi? By all means, go right ahead! :D
