Lol, well when you see someone spam a million omg Free Art journals it gets highly annoying when it leads to things like this.

Its just a meme in the end that leads to a bunch of people getting pissed off.

I may not like it either, but think of it this way.
When you leave a journal, only people who are watching you will see it, and if they leave a journal that links to yours, the people watching them will see it, and when they post a link back...
anyway, as you can see, they can reach more people this way.
The only reason I don't like it, is because the people linking to the journal give a title, and a link.
They don't give any kind of description other than that. It's very lazy.
I, personally, would like to see more description, otherwise just put the pimp link in your profile,
that way it can be removed or added easily, and doesn't really spam,
and people just stumbling onto the profile without watching it can also learn of the other artists.

Honestly, I don't think asking someone to pimp a journal is asking much, especially when they are getting a chance at FREE art, which can take a lot of an artist's personal time to do. The main point of journal pimping is to get an unknown artist's work out there. This opportunity is going to be drawn randomly, btw, so nothing "happened" to drawings.

In this case it was overall and i haven't exactly been in the best control of my anger lately.

I can understand that it could be annoying if a lot of the people you watch are constantly posting pimping journals, but that just proves that they want free art just as much as the next person. And of course "everyone and their grandmother" encourage people to journal pimp, because it works. Believe me, I like to do free art sometimes, but I would prefer to get commissions more often, just as much as the next person X3 So, this is just one easy way for my art to be exposed to a variety of people, because who doesn't want more watchers? :3 Not to mention I'm trying to get out of an artblock :P
