I got my first commission a few days ago, from a friend who wanted me to take some photographs he could get enlarged and put up on his walls, in exchange for him getting me a couple of items I was after.

I've never really put myself up for commission work, partly due to a lack of confidence in my abilities and partly due to feeling generally unsure about the whole process.

Anyway, I figured I'd post something to gauge if there was any interest in my work. I've already mentioned photography, and I also work on music, digital colouring, general (usually non-furry) digital art/design, calligraphy, and miscellaneous other things. I don't post everything I do online, partly as I don't have a scanner for work in traditional media, but I can usually provide examples where necessary.

If anyone's interested, I'd be happy to follow the same model as I did with my friend; we figure out something you want me to do, and something I'd do the work in exchange for, and go on from there. Of course, I'm more inclined to do things for friends or those I have some rapport with online already.

For both that method and if people wanted to pay money for my stuff, without wanting to sound arrogant, acceptance of commission work is purely down to me. Proposals along the lines of "I'd like you to do X in exchange for Y" will be considered in terms of my time, abilities, and suchlike, but (should there be interest) I'd rather reach something both parties are happy with, and wouldn't turn people down without an explanation.

I've got a few collaboration pieces to work on, so I should get those done first. Still, I don't really expect an enormous rush on this!

(Also, I do still intend to write about CFz at some point. I've been busy.)
