Advice about those silly journal hacks; what you can do

A word of advice, copied from

There is now an outbreak of an exploit of the journals going around. Remain calm and read this.
The journals are more or less just a short phrase where the entire phrase is a link. The phrase/link can seem attractive, relevant, random, and harmless. This is not the case. Spam journals will eventually slow the server down to the point of no access if they are allowed to continue to spread.
Also avoid journals with the following subjects, they ARE spam journals and WILL infect you -

I got a whole remedy for that: MUSHROOMS!
Obnoxious little frog!
If you run into a journal fitting this description:
DO NOT follow the link, it is how you will become infected and you too will start to spam these journals. Warn the journal creator that the spam journals have infected them and spread this warning around.
IF you did follow a link, check your journal entries for journals you did not create and delete them immediately as well as change your password. Warn others that you were infected and you dealt with it and spread this warning around.
Your cooperation and quick action will stop them from spreading and bring it back under control. Thank you.
