Hey everybody, just your central IL wolf-dame checking in again, with an actual contest that will have a real prize. (zomg shock, I know!)

But first...how often in the winter are you just wanting to curl up in front of your computer or in bed or wherever? Alone or with somebody, doesn't really matter. Blankets come in rather handy, and quilts are virtually works of art that can keep you warm or make a nice pillow when folded up. Now... how cool would it be if you had one custom-made with the colors of your fursona or some of your favorite colors and a theme attached to make it a complete one of a kind?

I have one sample quilt almost done, it's going to belong to Miss  Rhiannon.Ashwing and there will be pictures up (providing my apartment doesn't flood again) by Friday. It's lovely. Imagine a quilt made out of her ;)

I can do all kinds of patterns and have access to more fabric than I can possibly ever use up. I'll have block samples up asap as well. The idea in general is I can make you something that you probably don't have and will have a hard time finding elsewhere.

Entries for this contest will be accepted until noon on Friday, July 8th, 2011. The rules are as follows:
1. Please in a reply to this journal, give a ref, either picture or text, of the character you are entering, along with a theme. Happy, patriotic, tropical, etc. Get imaginative!!! The final piece of information I need at this point would be do you want a personal cuddle quilt, a full-size bed quilt, or a super-omg-gonna-snuggle-with-people size quilt (big enough for 3 plus size adults to cuddle under)
2. Post a journal advertising, and link it back here so I can see that you're helping me out too.

Winner will be announced sometime AFTER 1 pm July 8th 2011.





Now, if you want to bypass the whole contest part and just commission one, the prices are as follows.
Personal cuddle quilt: $85 + s&h
Full size bed quilt: $115 + s&h
Massive quilt: $200 + s&h

If you want to make a payment plan, just talk to me. I accept several forms of payment.

All of my quilts come with the guarantee that if you do not like them, I will either fix what you do not like or I will refund 50% of your money. (I can't return cut fabric to the store, even if I'm in with the owner) Also, any damage they receive such as torn seams or the binding coming undone, I will fix free of charge, you just have to pay s&h. And the best part? They're 100% machine washable and they'll last a darn long time provided you don't shoot flames at them!

I quilt at a ridiculous pace, so the turnaround is not very long at all, 1 month at the worst. These make excellent gifts, so keep it in mind as we get closer to December.
