She enjoys portraying herself as a half-aware and dimwitted beast, drunken in the stupor of her own bodily composure.
This is what I do in my spare time.
Written some time last year.
{Scene}
Katherine has been transformed by Angel into a large feral version of herself, and is having many problems feeling used to her new, physically powerful form. She tries to express her animosity towards the angel time and time again, but frequently fails to do so much as sync her big, fleshy lips and muzzle with what she most assuredly intends to say!
~ In a dark and mysterious place, the Greater Angel its only source of light ~
Katherine: UHHF! *she huffed* Ah...ahy...
Angel: Just try to relax, dear...
Katherine: *she let her head hang low, unsure of what to do next* =/_\=
Angel: It may...be a while, but you'll be fine. =^_^= It seems that it will take a moment for you to become comfortable in it.
Katherine: *she lowered her body and lay down upon her belly, burying her head in her large paws and whimphering in a way that sounded odd, even though it emanated from within her own body*
Angel: *he "allows" his form to slip into that of a female, bringing his paws to her back, his claws verily extended*
Katherine shifted the weight of her head towards Angel's face with such a speed that she frightened herself. And upon feeling those claws against the thick skin beneath her own fur, she arose with a quickness that only saw to it that she felt even more fear, pulling her large body away from her and stumbling over her own hindpaws, her demeanor perpetually akward.
Katherine: Shtuy...! *she muttered, unable to sync her will to speak with the lethargic body she didn't understand* Stahy ahwuh...!
Angel: Oh my...
Katherine: Guh...goh away!
Angel: *she observed her, keeping her distance while resting her clawed paws upon the stone floor, mildly scratching toward herself as if to remain preoccupied*
Katherine: *she managed to emit a low growl. And at this did she curl up into a fluffy heap, forever terrified of her very own being* XO...
Angel: I didn't mean to spur you to such confusion. I apologize, little Katherine...
Katherine: Shut uhp! Lueauhve meh alune!
Angel: If that will help you feel more comfortable, then I guess I must concede. =\
Katherine: Ffff! Bug shtupid cat! *as she began to shift her weight to a standing position, walking away from the angel*
Angel: Well that wasn't very polite... =(
{Scene where Katherine walks around through the castle, persistently approached by Angel's ethreal subjects who observe and interact with her in caution. She seems to be aprehensive of their concern, annoyed but somewhat intrigued by their ethereal forms. She makes her way to a small and circular fountain, overly thirsty as she begins to lap her large tongue at the water. But upon seeing her new visage she becomes startled, gradually softening up to the powerful form she presently embodies. She shifts her head's weight to look back to where she had come from, wondering what became of the massive angel she once saw. Angel begins to speak to her in a hushed voice, trying to comfort her in her present form.}
Katherine: *she begins to feel a sensation that feels as though someone were petting her belly and scritching her chest, stroking where her heart rests with a gentle touch*
{These feelings are so very subtle, to the point where she begins to sit up straight, enjoying herself without ever knowing that it is Angel who is soothing her. And Angel begins to speak to her again...}
Angel: Nigel is very worried about you...
Katherine: *her ears perk up* !!!
Angel: Renewal and...Misfortune... *she hesitated* ...are taking good care of him...
Still to convey:
- Allusions to the "play" that Cursed ("Misfortune") had spoken to Blessed ("Renewal").
- Other things.
