Introducing Slake!
So after much consideration, I decided to make my first OC here an Oni (a demon/ogre/troll/devil of Japanese mythology). For those interested, some basic information on them as a species can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oni_(folklore)
Anyway, on with his profile. ;D
Name: Slake
Age: 510 (32 in Oni years)
Height: Varies, but usually around 6'4"
Weight: Varies, but usually around 100kg (220lb)
Powers: Immense strength, shape-changing (only for limited time), size changing (only for limited time, and in a limited range), minor weather control, able to cause ill omens and bad luck to befall those who annoy him.
Weaknesses: Holy magic, pride, damage to his horns
Physical Features:
Light blue skin
Yellow eyes
Black hair (short and spiky)
Two short horns
Small fangs visible
Muscular build
Tattoo on left shoulder (ying-yang symbol)
Stubble on his face, as well as armpit hair, pubic hair, and chest hair (though apparently he keeps it neat and trimmed ♥)
Most common clothes (all tight-fitting): Blue jeans, tanktop, bare feet, sunglasses (sometimes), tiger-skin fundoshi underwear
Likes: causing mayhem, comfortable clothes, sake, pork buns, his big iron club, fighting
Dislikes: humans, weak opponents, riddles, soybeans, pop music, monkeys, priests, technology
Personal History: Slake is a modern-day Oni who lives by himself in an abandoned mountain temple. One of the many sons of the great Oni King, Slake was banished long ago for trying to overthrow his father's rule. He's since dwelt for several centuries among humans--and can't stand it! Everything about them, from their scent to the noise of their automobiles, riles Slake up. To make it worse, the Oni is completely confused by most
human scientific advancements and can't operate the simplest of machines without breaking them.
The only way he has to amuse himself is by sending various disasters (such as storms, forest fires, and bad tides) to the small fishing villages around the area. Occasionally, in retaliation, the villages send up a strong local warrior or a wandering ronin to put a stop to his crimes--which is just what Slake wants, since he loves to fight. Violence burns in Slake's blood, and since he can't go back to the Oni Kingdom, the only way to find strong fighters is to make such a nuisance of himself that they have no choice but to seek him out and challenge him to battle.
Slake's win record is second to none. In the old days, he'd typically finish his opponents off mercilessly with a blow from his iron club and leave their bloody carcasses for their families to find. But after doing that for too long, the supply of warriors challenging him began to quickly dwindle--and he soon had none to keep him entertained at all. That's why he now simply punishes them for losing with a good, hard spanking before releasing them back to their village. This way the fighters can challenge him again another day, after nursing their pride (and sore backsides). Whether win or lose, Slake usually stops his mischief for a while after a challenge . . . until his blood starts burning again, and his craving for action starts the whole cycle repeating itself . . .

Weak opponents shouldn't need an explanation. Neither should pop music or technology. As an ancient ogre he's also a bit of a fuddy duddy with his tastes. He hates priests because they're able to bind him. And as for riddles, he hates being forced to use his brain when he doesn't want to, especially for pointless things. ;]
Well . . . since he hasn't had sex since beginning his exile, he's pretty much perpetually horny and could bust a nut at any moment.
LOL Is the first time I roleplay into something and like my character in heart. You're guy is wonderful, again I state it!!
