That's right guys, I have decided that I would like to hold a contest. So for everyone that's looking to get some art from me, then listen up please *^-^*

Theme of the Contest
The theme of the contest is "A Day with Sarieu." What I want to see is if you could spend the day with this Eastern Dragoness, what would you like to do? Would it be a day at the beach, cherry blossom festival, or just sitting in a restaurant eating cheesecake? (These are just a few ideas, but there's so much more!) Let your imagination run wild and thing of something that would be totally awesome!

Types of Entries
There are several ways that you can enter this contest.
1. Artwork: I want to see what mastery of art you can create. Art work can be in the form of a drawing, sculpting, etc. Just do whatever you like and make sure to have fun with it *^-^*
2. Writing: I have always found stories to be a form of art so that would be nice to see. Make up a story or even a poem. Write to your hearts content and just have a blast with it.
3. Anything else: I you can think of something and want to go for it, then ask me about it. I'm sure I'll say yes but just to be sure.

Rules for Entries (Art form)
1. There needs to be at least two characters minimum in the entry. That would be a character of your choosing (OC I would assume lol) and Sarieu. You can always add more characters if you choose too but there has to be a min of 2.
2. The piece must be finished. If it's a drawing, then it must be in color. If it's a story, then there must be an ending. I will not accept unfinished work.
3. Seasons don't matter, it can take place any time of year lol

Due Date
The contest will end on September 12th 2011 At 12:00pm CDT (Central Time Zone). Just for the record, I live in Aurora, IL, USA so that's where I'm at lol. That's when all entries must be turned in to me. That is my birthday and I will be turning 21 that day. So I'll be out all night so the entries are due in the afternoon so I can get them all.

Rules for the Contest
1. Entries must be made specifically for the contest. I will not accept work that was made previous to the contest or for another purpose.
2. No Sex or Sex Related Fetishes. If you'd like to have nudity that would be fine (examples: changing clothes in a changing room while shopping, nudity in the hot spring, etc.) Playful flirting is fine but no closing the line. She's not one to kiss on the first day, she is a lady after all lol.
3. Anyone that chooses to enter is allowed to submit up to 2 entries. That way it gives you more of a chance for winning and if you're fighting between ideas then you can choose 2 of them.
4. If someone is being difficult, I have the right to decline their entry. This is a fun contest, I don't want drama.
5. I will re-post all the entries in a journal and be sure to link them back to the artist who has submitted them. That way everyone can see all the entries and the awesome artist who made them.
6. All submissions will be turned in my the due date. I will not extend the due date and I will make no exceptions for anyone. So be sure if you want to enter, that you get it done on time.
7. NO FETISHES! No: cub, vore, castration, torture, scat, super hyper stuff, tentacles, etc! If you have a question about something, then please ask! Don't want you to work hard on something just for me to shoot it down.
8. It's alright to ask for my opinion on things. i.e, making sure the coloring is right or if all the traits of a character are present. I won't judge it as an entry submission unless it's actually titled as so.
9. SUBMIT ALL ENTRIES BY NOTE TITLES OFFICIAL ENTRY! That way I know it's for the contest and that's the final submission. You don't have to title the piece that, just when you turn it in to me.
10. SUBMIT ONLY YOUR OWN CREATION. Don't have another person create something for you and then you turn in the final product. Your own work please.

Judging
I will be judging the entries based on creativity. So don't worry if you feel you're not the best artist, I'm looking for what fun could be had. Creative and colorful always get my attention *^-^* But give it your all and put a lot of thought into it.

Prizes
Now the moment you've all been waiting for. Because let's face it, if the prizes' aren't good, then who would like to enter.

1st Place: 2 fully colored digital/traditional pieces. One will be my interpretation of their contest entry and the other one will be of their choice.

2nd Place: 1 fully colored digital/tradition piece. Can either be my interpretation of their contest entry or a piece of their choice.

3rd Place: 1 linearted digital/tradition piece. Can either be my interpretation of their contest entry or a piece of their choice.

Rules for the Prizes
Here are the guidelines for what I will draw.

1. First place only: I will draw you WHATEVER YOU WANT! It can be whatever and I will draw up to 4 characters in the piece. There are no restrictions, it's whatever your heart desires. Even if my commissions guidelines say I won't, that doesn't matter for this because I will draw anything for you.

Bonus Info to Help with Entries
If you're stuck on what to draw for an entry and need an idea, here are a few things that Sarieu enjoys doing.
~Eating Cheesecake (or just eating in general)
~Hot Springs (she'll only go in if she's naked otherwise it's not worth her time)
~Japanese (be location, era, or just random trinkets. If it's Japanese, then it's love)
~Swimming (she is a water dragon after all)
~Sword fighting (she is a samurai and loves to practice her technique and test her masterful skills)
~Video Games (she picks up fighting games fast and becomes really competitive)
~Cooking and Baking (she loves making food as much as eating it)
~Going to new places (she loves to travel and see new things)
~Drawing (she is an artist after all)
