No, it would affect anyone streaming it in anyway. youtube videos as well. Pay-for streaming or not, its all against this policy. Fuck the broadness of this thing could even encapsulate the streaming or recording of ANY copywritten thing, even a stream of using Photoshop, since it is a copywritten program and by this bill would be deemed "protected" under it. Its insane. These old folks writing these bills need to actually research what the fuck they're trying to work on.

It's already against the law to stream copyrighted content. It's just not worth the effort of putting down money to sue people that wont get you money.

The bill is also worded like shit, so it's got no chance in hell anyway. Well written bills don't have much bigger chances either.

These are the same old f*cks who don't even READ the bills they are voting on. Ancient citizens who are incapable of understanding the digital age. Term Limits would help get some fresh and up to date folks in place who actually understand the concept of what they are voting on.

Other jobs have mandatory retirement due to age. ( demands of the job exceed age X capability ) I'm of the opinion Congress should be the same. Most of them are incapable of understanding the concequences of the laws they vote upon. ( especially if they don't bother to read them to begin with )

Ok now that would be stupid to make something like streaming illegal were to go through. Just seems like a pointless thing to make into a law. So many other things that need to be worked on and this isn't even close to one.

Hopefully there's a lot of politicians that have something close to a brain that will shoot this down.

That's the problem with letting bills like these pass. Once passed, they can be amended, and that process is a lot easier than passing the initial bill. And even if they claim that the bill is only meant to TARGET certain groups, it doesn't mean that's what it's going to be used for. People have souls, companies don't.
