I had meant to write up a proper AC report, but after being knocked on my ass by a bout of con crud I find that I really don't have the time for anything but work! Basically, I've been gone most of June and just shunting projects to July. Oh, I'll do this in July, I'll do that in July…
…well, now it's July. Time to get doing.
That said, a few words: the con was great, and kudos to the fine Logistics crew (they deal with THE STUFF!). Thanks to my roomies,
witchiebunny and 
gavyn (and 
arofatamahn ), and also a BIG thank you to 
syrae-universe for use of her laminator in the Dealer's Den. Thank you honey, you saved my con!
Speaking of the Den, that's basically where I was the whole time, except for evenings when I escaped to attend
2_gryphon and Uncle Kage's shows. I got to hang out with 
jibba for a bit, but we missed out dance-lesson-thing (AGAIN). He owes me one for a commission I did for him last year. I wonder if I should let him know he's debt is accruing interest?
All in all though, for the most part I was at my table, working. I sold some comics and prints, but mostly I was doing badges. Namely, pony badges! It started out innocently enough: I made pony badges for myself and my roomies, but literally as I was working on them people were coming out of NOWHERE like Mexicans outside of Home Depot (blame 2, it's his joke) going "Pony? Pony? You do pony badges? I can has? I can has?"
So I did. I was kept in business the whole weekend doing pony badges, and by the end I was having to take take-home orders! A lot of people wanted badges, and I just did not have the time to make them.
Well, if you wanted a pony badge from me, HERE'S YOUR CHANCE!
PONY BADGE COMMISSIONS:
Pony badges are where I take your fursona and "pony" it. I draw YOU as one of the ponies from My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic (no queries for the old series, please: it is poison and I will not touch it!) Or, if you have one, I can do a badge of your original pony character. Badges will be fully inked and colored, and cut-out so they will have that "paper-doll" effect. If you would not like yours cut-out, just say so. Unfortunately, due to my inability to access a laminator, I will not be able to laminate the new badges (sadly). I recommend Kinko's for your lamination needs, or (if you are at a con that they are attending) Legarto's Custom Leather, who also do very good laminations.
Now, on to ORDERING!
Pony badges are 31.00 USD (that extra dollar is for shipping), and I ask for a $10.00 down payment at the time you place your order. Because of trouble I've had in the past, I will not start work on a badge unless I've received the down payment first. Sorry. :-P
TO ORDER simply shoot me an email at gorondie[at]gmail.com (it makes my life a lot easier to work in emails rather than notes). I'll confirm your order and give you my PayPal info, and once I receive payment I'll get to work!
When placing an order, it greatly helps if you include the following:
NAME (of the pony character)
TYPE (choose from: pegasus pony, unicorn, or earth pony)
CUTIEMARK (the little icon ponies display on their rear flank: please let me know what you'd like in either a written description or a ref pic)
EXTRA (any little extra detail: I can do things up so a small companion character, such as here)
And finally (and most importantly): a reference picture, either of your fursona, or, if you have one, your original pony character.
And that's out it! Let the pony invasion begin!
(And remember haters: we will love and tolerate the hell out of you!)
