ANYONE UNDER 18 SHOULD BE ACCOMPANIED BY A LEGAL GUARDIAN. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR MINORS. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ADULTS. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOURSELVES. WE ACCEPT NO LIABILITY IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO YOU.
1. Please bring your own food and water. This is a tough economy and as much as we want to, sometimes we don't have the funds to bring food for everyone. If you want, go ahead and bring extra to share! But please consider giving a few dollars to those who you do take food from!
2. Please dress in a family friendly way. We want to show the local community that we as a group are nothing to be worried about. I'm glad to say we have had no trouble with this yet!
3. When non-furs ask what we do, just say we enjoy costuming. Or that we enjoy art. Although there is an adult part of the fandom, that shouldn't be the first part of information you offer, some people might not take it the right way!
4. If it's not yours, don't touch it. Some people are uncomfortable with people touching their things. By asking permission from the proper owner, we can ensure that our meets run smoothly and without any problems.
5. Ask people before you hug them. Some people are uncomfortable with strangers touching them, asking politely will tell you which people are shy and which people don't mind being affectionate.
6. ANY FURRY 15 YEARS OR YOUNGER MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN when attending LA_Furs gatherings. No exceptions!
7. Tip the waiters! Some furries like to extend their time with their friends and eat at the local dennys after our meet. Please be sure to always tip the waiters.
8. NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED. There is no exception to this rule, period. If you are found with alcohol, you will be asked to leave.
