AUG furmeet/New Orleans trip?

My roomie and I are offering our Baton Rouge home for a CHILL WEEKEND FURMEET Fri AUG 5th-Sunday AUG 7!!!
I am inviting any furry who wishes to hang out at my place for the weekend to meet other LA furs and have a good time. ANYONE is more than welcome to arrive/leave at any point during the weekend =) I have tents to chill in the backyard and possibly a small fire to sit around and get to know each other. If it rains, I have a HUGE LIVING ROOM with a big TV, so more than enough space to crash for everyone.
On Sat or Sun, I am hoping to lead a mighty caravan of furries to New Orleans (depending on weather) but other ideas are welcome!! We could go to the zoo, French Quarter.. really anything. I want this to be a positive experience and for everyone to have fun. Also, any fur that wants to meet up with us there is more than welcome.
Other Info:
Bring sleeping bags if you plan to crash for one/both nights
Alcohol is BYOB
I have a grill so BBQ may happen.. mmm BBQ. Please bring some snacks and we may order Pizza if people chip in.
Bring games (we have most systems), boardgames work too
laptops/tablets/sketchbooks/etc if you would like LAN/arts. There WILL be LOTS of arting!

I go to school all the time. I just had to cancel going to N.O. for a Radiologic Technicican convention in the later part of August because of my money situation.
Im hoping to go next year.

If I go, it'll only be for the evening. I don't really know how my work schedule is, but if I have Saturday off I'd definatly head on down in the morning around 10. We can meet up at McDonald's on Ryan street in Lake Charles or sometihng like that, or if you're close I can pick you up. I'll drive out to Moss Bluff's Wendy's, but I'm not going too far out.
iPod has a huge array of music on it from hip-hop to rock to rap to dubstep, so there's something for everyone on there. Any requests can be added before hand. Overall, I'm a fun little freshly 18yr old Nola ;) I'll be bringing my sketchbooks and pencils. Maybe do a few freebie doodles :3
My attendance and car's availability are tenative based on my work schedule.
That is really kind of you to offer a ride to those in need. It will not only mean the more the merrier, but you are helping out a fellow fur. I myself is picking up someone about 1/2 hr away. I don't mind though... it will make for a better turnout and make it that much more fun =3
