Well they started at 10, and I upped the price after a few months and over 30 request for them, and I don't really want to make anymore but I like to still make them available for anyone who /really/ wants one. And you actually get the full 500x500 version and a 100x100~

i just think anyone that'll spend $20 on a recoloured and re-tailed version of something has way to much extra cash :/

um... actually there completely customizable. from the background color to background effects, from garter color, pattern texture, etc.
so there not just remakes of the same template. I go in and make everyone unique.

If it were just a flat template and they all looked the same, than yes. they would be loads cheaper.

It's not your fault. The temptation is often too much for most people :3 Don't blame yourself, just move on and start fresh. I've personally had art stolen from me as well. I was NEVER apologized to. They laughed at me, swore at me, ignored me and had the picture continued on claimed as their own.

YES it sucks.

YES it was WRONG.

But hell... at least their giving an apology and owning up to their mistake. Their doing the right thing even if it came much too late. Nobody expects forgiveness, understanding is not necessary, but comments like that just make a situation worse. At least this person has given a public apology to their watchers and the creator themself.

Consider it an amazing thing..because some of us that have been the victims of art theft arent so fuckin' lucky.

I've had art stolen from me too, by someone on facebook. I reported it, but since I've been further blocked from their profile, I'm not sure what become of it.

An apology, on the internet, I think means so little. You're typing out words on a keyboard, no one knows if they are really trying to apologize behind that screen. This man is 18 years old, has been on FA for quite a while, he should KNOW this was a terrible idea from the get-go.

It's the right thing, but I don't feel it corrects the mistake completely.

I also do not forgive tracers lightly, so that may have something to do with it.

And comments like this don't bother a thing until someone makes a shit storm out of it, and it hasn't happened yet, so it's fine as it is. :U

i have to totally agree with this, the fact that he is popular now just because of that, and has all of this, when there are artists out there litirally starving because they can't get ANY commissions, makes me really sick...

Yeah, I find it horrible that he traced this work from someone who needs the money off those icons for fucking popularity, just shows how shallow and immature they are, because they want to be known like a god on the freaking internet.

I'm glad you've owned up to what you've done, it makes you a bigger and better person for have done it. I've had art stolen from me..and haven't had the honour of an apology, much less a PUBLIC apology for what had transpired. They laughed, made fun of me, claimed it as their own and continued to. The best you can do is learn from your mistake and move on with it. Don't forget, you DID put effort into it as well.

People need to realize it takes guts to do what you did. You admitted you were wrong and made a widespread apology. I'm proud of you for doing that... now just right the wrongs and come up with your own ideas. :)
