My life as a FURRY journalist on Furry News Network!
So being that I write articles for a newspaper for a living... I came across the Furry News Network www.furrynewsnetwork.com a while ago and really liked the idea... and jumped on board as a staff writer with a couple contributing articles.
I recently thought it'd be a neat idea to do a regular monthly feature, so I chose to start a unique profile series called "Featured Fursuiter of the Month" where I take one of the more well-recognized fursuiting figures in the fandom and do a little "behind the mask" look at how they came across furry, the background of their characters, etc. Personally, I really like learning about who is behind the suit... and the response to my articles has really been positive so far!
Here are links to the Fursuiter of the Month features if you'd like to give them a read, I've featured
yippee and
dogbomb so far and have a few others that I'm going to look to feature in the upcoming months. I probably worked harder on these than I needed to since it's a volunteer position, but I really wanted to do as professional a job as I could with these, as if I was writing for a major news corporation. Enjoy, and be sure to register for FNN (or follow on Twitter @furrynewsnetwork) to receive regular updates!

Keep up the good work Kijani
me look good! I really appreciate all your hard work.
Fursuiters and furries in general are quite a diverse group as you said... and the best part is that every one of them has their own unique story to tell. I wish we didn't live sooo far away! My next con will be Rainfurrest, and then FC (hopefully) and AC.
Andnce again, you prove that you are without a doubt a truly respectable and inspirational person in this fandom. You have found yet another way to give back to others while asking nothing in return and simply enjoying doing kind acts for another.
I'm tellin' ya, Kijani. Keep this trend up and you will be well-recognized for it someday.
I really appreciate that compliment... and good point in that I'm doing this out of pure enjoyment. If I thought of it as "work" I probably wouldn't do it! *hugs tight*
