Mii: Juice Well probably you know this, but I had an argument with Vanessa about the sprites used in her Project X, and she was "mature" enough to post our personal chat on her journal, not that it bothers me, anyway here's the link enjoy:

She did block me now so I can't even defend myself, but I want your honest opinion did I really offend her that bad or was she just overreacting?
I admit I did nit pick on some parts of the game but only because I saw it had potentials and wanted to improve it, I was offering my help to her for so long and I didn't even care to even be credited, even though she might not realize that and think I was looking for fame, I don't blame her she's a lot more popular among the Sonic fans than me but I never care for fame to begin with, I was mainly offering my help!
I want your honest opinion, was I really that harsh to her? or was she being unreasonable and couldn't take a criticism!
oh and for the record, I did apologize to her but she removed that part!
Edit: I will point out to some misunderstandings:
first of all, Vanessa NEVER said no to me, every time she said "wait until I post it and show it to others to see they're opinion" and I say "alright :)" but she never did, and I waited and waited but for nothing!
Second she once asked me to make swimming sprites for Rouge, I didn't get to finish those because she said to wait for her answer about it, I waited for so long with nothing until I found out from Pen that the whole swimming idea was canceled!
Third, I was never aiming to be credited, I was only offering my help the whole time, I did offer to help in multimedia stuff too, I even offered to rip any music she wants from any game, edit it for looping and stuff, convert it and make it ready to be copied and pasted, I also helped them rip Blaze's voice lines and they again never credited me for that nor helping them getting the ones for Sonic and Shadow, I never asked for credit nor I want it, all I wanted was to help and this is the thank you I got!

What if I were to look at your sprites and tell you that they look like they were done by a 12 yr old? You'd feel pretty stink, eh?
I really very desapointed with both.

And for Zeta for using a Rage post, making the battle a everyone battle.

Seems more than anything though you are mad at rockcandy being able to put a character in the game and not you.
Originally rock candy in the game was supposed to be a trade which went wrong. You can look at her older journals might be deleted though.

That was not called for. How would you feel if someone came up to something you have been working months on and said.

Then expect her fans not to get mad when you go ahead and say.

"Arms should be a little thinner up top, the boots are nice, but don't match the rest.
The amy he made is the wrong shading to match with the rest of them, there are dark shades where to match they would need light shades. The dark line shades in the rest of the cast are only used to differentiate parts. Example, http://d.facdn.net/art/zetar-02/129.....xtailsboss.gif
Could they be better? sure, but everything can be better. You remake amy to that style you would have to remake allot setting the game back a while.

There are 5 girls. 2 female enemies and the boss.
so if each has two animations. 16 animations, times 5 for the amount of playable girls. Give or take a few repeaters, like amy x rouge would be the same as rouge x amy. So you are looking at over 60 animations, give or take. Is that not enough?"
Also there are things Vanessa left out, I wasn't just offering sprite work but I did offer to help her in multimedia stuff, I told her I'm even willing to rip music from any game she wants, edit it to make the good looping and stuff, convert it and make it ready for a matter of copy/paste, also they did use my rips of Blaze's voice without crediting me and I wasn't even bothered, and they're gonna use the same for Sonic and Shadow and again I don't mind nor I ask for credit what so ever!
look I like and respect Vanessa I always did, but she was a bit mean to me this whole time, those who know us both can agree on that, I know I can say mean stuff sometimes without meaning it but again those who know me know I never intend to be mean!
as for the arms and legs being thick, that was Vanessa's choice, she even wanted them thicker and I kept them as thick as she made them in the game, if it comes to me I wanted them thinner, and I did make them thinner before but she didn't like it, so don't blame me for that it was her choice, I didn't refuse to listen to her like her minions are claiming, I did wait for her reply for son long until I finally gave up, Pen told me she's responsible for the sprites now and she approved me to remake Amy, she told me she was gonna talk to Vanessa but apparently Vanessa didn't want my help
but you know what it doesn't matter anymore, there's noway I can beat her argument with all those dedicated fans
Zu offered to make it himself but stuck to the same style. Like I said before your amy doesn't really match.
And for the arm comment, aye, but you would think a little thinner up top would make seance, since all the other characters have it.
Pen may be responsible for sprites but in the end its still Vanessa's game. She does get the last say.
say what you want but Pen did tell me she was the one responsible and she asked me to do Amy, so if I knew Zeta would be a child about it I wouldn't have bothered in the first place, I rather go work on my own fan games instead :(
but whatever I washed my hands from this project anyway, I won't be making any more sprites even if Vanessa herself asked me to do it, not after her reaction and ruining my image

look this is all silly and stupid, I really didn't mean to say these things and you know it, but you weren't being fair with me saying that RC is only making Zu himself while knowing I was gonna do the same with Amy if I got the approval, plus you seem to think fan characters are more important which I disagree with you here because most people would rather play a game with a character they know and like, you made me look like a bad guy and turned everyone against me how would you feel if I did that to you?

I wouldn't say that her Amy and Blaze sprites look like they were made by 12-year-olds, but they aren't the BEST I've seen, that's for SURE. I've seen MUCH BETTER, and I've seen MUCH WORSE. I think Zeta's missing out with the sprites you've made that I've seen. But hey, it's her choice, and I'll respect that choice.
But kid, you've got talent. I can see that. Zeta is missing out by not using those Amy sprites of yours, I've also said that on her journal. I'm hoping that I can mediate some kind of peace or agreement between you and her.

The problem is not his talent. Zeta don't ignore him because of his talent. Zeta ignored him because the two don't get together.
They really don't like each other, not even a single day. They born enemys, if you will.

Yeah, I don't think Zeta would really have you as a "super best friend". Or me, for that matter. Honestly, it would be nice, I can admit that, but I don't really care either way. I just want to stop the hate. That's why I consider myself a Grey Knight. Because you never know what the Grey Men in the Middle will do next.

Yes, you were offensive. you've made some nasty comments that, while may have had some valid points, just seemed to needlessly bash her work.
in an earlier comment, you say that Zeta was being hypocritical by letting RC remake Zu, while you don't get to touch up anything. well... this can easily be countered. RC owns Zu.

so what I can gather from this mess is this:
you wanted to remake Amy,
Zeta (in essence) said "no"
you got mad, and started to attack her work, as well as her fans.
so... this is what you did right:
you brought up some interesting points.
Amy and Blaze do need to be touched up a bit
the sex in-game does seem a little one-sided at times.
this is what you did wrong:
you said her sprite work was god-awful
the way you presented your other point was very childish, not to mention completely unrelated to the issue at hand
you attacked the fans of the game.
NEVER attack the fans. this will just bring about a whole bunch of issues. an angry sea of fans to come over and just tear your ass apart. I should know.
NEVER, when trying to be critical, call someone's work "crap" under no basis.
NEVER bring up an unrelated issue. this just makes it seem like you're desperately trying to shift the argument to something else.
and lastly, when someone says "no", leave it at "no" if Zeta doesn't want to use your sprite, that's fine. that's her prerogative.
worse case, you find something else to do with the sprite.
I'm not trying to defend her, (though in hindsight, I'm doing a good job of doing so) as she was acting childish herself. so I'm not necessarily saying that she's right.

I'd be willing to offer you a critique, heck, I'd be willing to shoot you some advice. but you've got to expect some harsh criticism. no turning around and saying "FUCK YOU!!!" when I say something you don't like.
this goes to everyone, seriously how hard is it to make a civilized conversation instead of "hey someone who sucks more than I do" I think it's been established now, I have said things I shouldn't have said, and Vanessa got angry and overreacted about it, we're both in guilt here, and not only that I apologized but she did too "check her journal" so can we please move on?
