This is a legal issue, getting a lawyer is the mature action. The person selling all that art is violating copyright laws and thus should be dealt with in a court of law.

I think he was referring to the internet tough guys who were talking about going to New York and assaulting the guy. In some cases they are offering to do this for X artist. People who did that are just hurting the case of the artists who are doing the mature thing and addressing his actions in civil court.

I actually think that justice would be done if 1) ant person who paid for the unauthorized art copies had their money returned, 2) the legal fees for a class-action lawsuit were paid, 3) the thief was dealt appropriate justice -- though throwing him in jail would just put him back on the dole, sadly.
