I love you.
You were first and foremost, FUNNY, skilled, sarcastic and witty, and above all, you had Drive. Output. Goals. I always admired you for that. I hoped that I'd see you again someplace else than a hospital. I wanted to have you over again, and we could sit and chill and doodle, which we never did enough of. I was really looking forward to seeing you fill up that sketchbook, but now the sky's your sketchbook.
I miss you already.

May the moon give him light that he might create on his pallet of the sky..
May the sun warm his face when he awakes to another day of inspiration in the heavenly reward he has been given..
May the breeze comfort him that he may never be too warm or too cold as he watches the stars wander past in the sky..
.. and may he always know and remember those friends like you that tried to give him a smile and your own peace of mind with your friendship and your warmth on those days when life might have seemed to have greyed his eyes and how he saw the world before him.
Goddess bless his resting place and give his heart and soul the peace it deserves as he sees eternity and the light beyond to bask in, and let him remember those friends and loved ones he always cherished, as they remember him and the blessings his life gave them all.

He was nothing but a inconsiderate dick to me but every rose has its thorns and I suppose I just grabbed that rose in all the wrong places.

Fossil, He loved you so much. He looked up to you as a friend and an artist. He always talked about how cool you are, and my family sends their love to you for all of your kindnesses towards my brother. You are a great man.

Sorry to hear about what happened to your bro.
I suffered a pulmonary embolism back in March. What happens is a clot breaks off from the legs, and gets stuck in the lungs, preventing blood flow. If it went to his heart, or brain then it is not a pulmonary embolism, as Pulmonary specifically refers to lungs. Pulmonary Emboli come specifically from the legs, and from Deep vein thrombosis (which if I am to understand correctly, he had a very very bad infection, which is a ripe place for those kinds of things to form).
If he had a clot in his artery, it would have shot through the heart, gone to the brain, and caused a stroke.
Holy shit, this sucks. He was a great artist.
I don't recall regretting it, at the time, and I don't admire a man for his bullheadedness... but like you said, he was still one helva a guy, warts and all. I can say I wish I had another chance at a word with him. Atleast a small one.
