I'd say do a Satarnis account rather than a PCA one. Reason being that the Satarnis stuff is your own Original Property and thus you should devout something specific to it. Which, you're also right that it'd give you a chance to allow people to peruse and get more used to it and understand it more.

I dont feel strongly one way or the other. it`s too bad FA doesnt let you have sub galleries/folders like Y!gallery does.

I'd suggest going with the Satarnis. The first comment has a good point, it'll also make the discerning between your pokemorph and Satarnis arts a hell of a lot easier =b
Cos Pokemorphs are all over the shop. Satarnis is something you've created yourself, so having a seperate way for people to get to know their world better is the way to go.

Another vote for Satarnis here. Keeping that all organized in its own place will hopefully reduce a lot of the confusion that seemed to have ya frustrated earlier, and much of the Poke-themed work does seem to end up in the PCA page's favorite gallery eventually so it's not quite as difficult to keep track of.

I think I'm going to have to agree with the masses already here and say to go for giving the Satarnis stuff its own account.

Let's face it, as cool as your pokemorph stuff is, it's not nearly as cool as your own creation :)

No, no... I don't mean, why a second account, I mean - why all the comments aimed toward your new account being for your Saturnis characters. I understand completely the reason why you want to separate the two, but your Saturnis characters are yours. If you had a second account, it would've struck me more to have your pokemorph characters in that one, and your own characters in your original one. My confusion wasn't aimed at you, I just didn't know why everyone seemed to feel it was your Saturnis characters that should be moved, that's all.

Truth be told, you've just hit the nail on the head in terms of why I had a hard time deciding which to go with in the first place -- as vast a setting as Satarnis is, the key difference between that and the Poke-art is the fact that it's *MINE*. I like having the name Kompy be associated more with "that gal who draws those weird made-up cuedow things' than 'that gal who draws neat Pokeymanz". The "organization" is just a more valid, less personal reason to consider, plus one where folks could give their legit 2 cents about it rather than go "trust your instincts" or anything like that.

Still, though...yeah, I'm glad I'm not deciding on making the decision right away because this is going to take some more thought to put into than expected o_o;

That was exactly what I was thinking... Though I admit I was confused because the opinions of just about all the others - who also follow your art and are therefore quite qualified to make their evaluations - seem to be of the opinion that the new directory should be for your Satarnis creations. I wasn't sure why. My own feeling is much like yours... that is, a creator's world deserves the credit be given to the creator. If it were myself in your position, I would definitely want the Kompy directory to be the showcase for the Kompy Universe and all that exists therin. Especially since you have clearly received so many replies showing that your fans do make a distinction and are observing what you create. It means you already have the potential for being known as "The Satarnis Creator" as well as -or, perhaps, even more than - "The neat Pokemorph artist" Of the latter, you've obviously got competiton, even as good as you are. Of the former, it's all yours alone. And if it were me, I'd be quite proud of that.

Sorry for infuriating you even for a little while. I wasn't confused at all about your postulation, only at the responses I couldn't figure out (and didn't know if it was some inner-Poke-fandom thing) <=)

How about you keep this one for PCA and the other for the Satarnis material.

You could keep this one for PCA, contest, and your yerf-era stuff and use the other one for your Satarnis stuff.

My two cents, for whatever it's worth... Early warning, I tend to ramble.

Really, I'd say make the separate account for the PCA stuff, and keep the original name for your original creations. That... Sounds like it'd make the most sense. I don't know about these kind of things too well, but both areas seem to draw very well for you (by draw, I mean attract viewers or whatnot), so snapping it in two would seem to be the rational choice, but... That poses the question of what to do with your other artworks? Next answer: scrap sections. While this'll probably kill your draws for those pictures, it'd certainly make things a LOT more organized...

But this answer in and of itself poses a problem; what would you do with an amazing picture that has nothing to do with either? Certainly you wouldn't want to scrap it if you're really proud of it. While making a THIRD account would be a viable option... That could easily frustrate some viewers, not to mention whatever rules I'm unaware of.

But with the problem you're posed with, it seems mostly a matter of deciding between two factions (well, four, actually, but that's mostly a matter of what being moved where):

1) Create an account solely so your Satarnis gets the spotlight, and the other account is populated with anything PCA related and/or whatever else you like, shifting the focus so that your Satarnis artwork gets more... What's the phrase, pure publicity(?), or
2) Create an account solely so you may shine on what PCA characters and situations you have, where the other account has the Satarnis stuff mixed in with your other artworks.

I'm rather biased for the Pokemon, so for me to keep the vote fair... I'd say coin flip or roll a d4, but that's not what you were asking us to decide, right?
