To Leave FA or Not to Leave?

No, I'm not leaving Fa. So don't freak out on me you sillies.
One the one hand, FA's trackkin' mah links and sappin' mah passwords.
On the other, they banned cub porn, which Sofurry won't ank Inkbunny (correct me if I'm wrong) was created to showcase when FA banned it. So props to 'Neer on that one at least.
Then again, 'Neer. And the other admins who ban whoever pisses them off and ignored me when I submitted a trouble ticket, back when all my notices, notes and some submissions got mysteriously erased.
...But I've got a lot of watchers and a loyal fanbase here who I don't wanna betray.
Still, FA doesn't allow me to automatically filter my searches like Sofurry does based on tags. So every time I look up "Hyper asses" I get a steaming brown heap of lemons by this dude named tcyk or something. Some have diapers, and all have "hyper soiling/scat/farting" etc. You get the disturbing idea. Fucking disgusting. And it takes a fuckload to disgust me, lemme tell ya.
Even so, almost all of my favorite artists/authors post here and nowhere else...
I had hopes for Sofurry once Toumal started fixing it up, but there's been no mass migrations of furries to the far superior hosting site, and updates and upgrades seem to have stalled.
Sigh.
If only 'Neer got Toumal to overhaul FA (and took a tactical nuke to anything with a hint of poop, pee or diapers in it). We could do so much better, but it seems the fandom is content with mediocrity.
Until that happens I guess I'm stuck flipping past a dozen icons with HYPER SOILING emblazoned proudly across them.

Also The Escapist uses this track addy thing so who cares. I think people are mostly just pissed that FA implemented it

But i understand your meanings.
They have pretty much ignored my trouble tickets too. Also if someone has kissed asses to be friendly with the admins the admins wont ban them when they severely needed to.
Th only thing i don't like about sofurry though is their extreme no human rule. I do though like the ability to set both an adult and non-adult icons along with if you wish to view them.
plus... yeah, the tagging systems well.. suck as much as i do ^..^ but i believe to most people that's an insult ^..<
but honestly, on neither sight i ever find what i want. it just doesnt help that i dont exactly use FA or SO for porn.
IB is great, has a better tagging and filtering system, not to mention looks better, but it's got some shortcomings too, like not allowing furry x human relations. Though I personally don't like this anyway, to those who do I feel that's not 100% fair.
Browsing isn't as easy as in FA either, you're fixed at 30 submissions per page while FA has double.
You also can't change the sort direction of submissions. I want subs sorted oldest first like here, but you can't do that.
tl;dr FA is still more or less the main hub for furry art fro G to NC-17 ratings, so as long as that remains a fact, I'll stay here in addition to IB.
My wishlist for FA would be a decent tagging system like SF's or IB's and better story display. An updated notes system would be cool too. FA's plusses are the pedophile art ban and the huge user base.
And yeah.... I guess I don't have anything against those who enjoy scat or watersports....
I just wish I didn't have to see it.
Despite what people are into, banning something does not make it go away, people will fimd ways around it, or other places will host it.
Honrestly, just fiximg filtrts will work, problem is many fets cooincide or get mixed, so after a while even that will be moot, thumbnailing is usually the best option.
It's why the net will always contain eyeblood.
Going elsewhere is as futile as staying, if anything adding a extreme category on the search engine would fix that greatly, since it'd fix it and still cater to all.
also i didn't know you could op out of the tracking then again it's been a long time since i've had anything finished enough to post on FA.
