Update on my cat
I should have updated on this Saturday but things kind of got busy.
Saturday I picked up my cat from the vet after paying a $203 vet bill. They had kept him over night to run some tests and look at his throat. Basically they told me that with the feline leukemia and the growth that the left side of his throat is paralyzed. They were unable to do a biopsy on the growth to determine whether or not it is cancer due to it’s location, so I have to hope it’s not but be prepared to if it is.
The biggest challenge besides feeding is keeping him away from our four other cats (which we have to get tested). For the most part the only place we can put him is in my bathroom when I’m at work and then when I get home let him stay in my room. Which keeps him from the other cats.
Also I’ve been doing some research into the disease, from what I gather it only lives close to 2 hours on dry surfaces but 48 on moist surfaces, and is easily killed with disinfectant.
Unfortunately every time I feed him he has more and more difficulty eating and when he sleeps his snores louder, so I think I’ll be lucky if he lives till February.
I just realized this whole time I’ve been talking about my cat I’ve not once mention his name; well it’s Linus, like the “Peanuts” character.

Also for those who are wondering what he looks like.
