i need to get 2 new computers. One i can personally have and one to give as a gift to my mother.
if i have money left over I'll just use it for shit. but If you ever EVER want stuff from me you need to help, even small donations will help, hey if 2000 people gave me 1.34$ i would be fine. infact I will do. no. I WILL do commission for ever last person to donate 5.00 priced commissions for 1.34. i have a SD card to hold the pictures. my computer is have EXTREMELY bad internet problems, infact everytime I try to get on FA the page crashes. lucky I will be able to send you what you want through Skype and MSN. because I don't have a Flash card I CANNOT use my PS3 to upload stuff i make on SAI. and my Wii doesn't allow upload (sucks, man i wish it supported this.)

Mom's Toshiba,though, was crashed by my brother's PSP to the point where nobody could repair it.
Depends on the people that use it. Give your dad's computer to my brother, he'll destroy it in no time,best example.
I could write a story on all the things my brother's broken. He's broken at least 1 or 2 thousand dollors worth of shit.

Normally I don't fret too much over brand names, but there really are some that are just generally better.
you could try a virus scan with Avast or some shit.
If it's old then you may want a new one, though.
If you look in the right places, you could get two pretty good computers for about $1000. If you're looking for something decent that can just do generic things, then the price can go down to about $350 each.

Normally with me, I just power through everything.
Back up info, run Avast, run Spybot, delete/clean up old shit, defrag, then restart it.
All that sort of crap.
And if that doesn't work, which is has every time except once, then I just reinstall Windows xD
Also, Avast should be your ONLY Anti-Virus.
Only one anti-virus can be installed at a time, cuz they conflict with each other. If Avast still doesn't work after a full system scan, uninstall it and try Kaspersky.
If you think it's a virus, that is.
