Occupy Wall Street.. Shit's Getting Real
So.. there's been very little mainstream media coverage on the events happening around Occupy Wall Street, which involves a group of several thousand people occupying Zuccatti(sp?) Park, in an effort to bring attention to the growing problem of corporate greed.
What started as a group of 1,000 people ballooned, more so on Sept 24th when 5 women were corralled in orange police netting, and an officer, Deputy Inspector Anthony Boplogna (I shit you not that's his name), maced them. He also proceeded to grab someone who was filming this incident with a professional grade camera and drag him to the ground, slamming his head in the headlights of a parked car in the process.
This garnered the support of several unions; Transit Workers Union Local 100 joining in the fight, as well as several teachers' and maintenance worker unions.
And now, as I type this out, 15 marines IN UNIFORM will be present. According to their reddit post, there's a call to arms to head over to Occupy Wall Street and PROTECT THE PROTESTERS FROM THE NYPD.
Wow... seriously, shit just got fucking real.

I'm really glad it's happening. More and more, this is ancient rome all over again. The 'emperors' (congressmen) taking bribes (Lobbyists), more and more entertainment, food (bread and circuses) what's coming? Gladiator games with lions eating prisoners?
The govemrent isn't trying to do anything to fix the econoy. The corporations just think of their precious CEOs and stock holders, while laying off people.
Go protestors!! But we need to do more. Right now I'm not sure how that can be done. Might want to boycott companies that sell expensive computers, with permanently installed batteries so you have to spent the same amount 2 years later, and toss a perfectly good computer in the trash.
Oh I forgot...Apple loyalest would go though withdraw :)

the dummycrats sold out America for their union thug allies.
HALF of the repuslivican party supports the middle class, the other half have been in office soo long they are no better than the democrats.
Throw ALL the bums out.
I agree there cannot be a caste system in America, but I disagree with who you feel is trying to institute it.
