Hi guys! I am holding a small contest of sorts.
I had something similar a couple months back on SoFurry and it went really well! So now I'm giving my friends here on FA a chance.
The art can be of your choosing of either a laminated hole punched badge, or a full color page/pin up of your character.
I will be drawing three random winners, and you can increase your chances of winning as well!
I only require two things! One, re-post this journal. And 2, comment on this journal filling out this form:
To make this a little bit more interesting, AND to give people more of a chance to win. If I get 50 comments I will draw 5 names instead of 3. If I get 100 comments I will draw 10 names instead of 5.

One interesting thing to note about my fursona is the reason for the long wolf-like tail. I had to have tailbone surgery a few years back and this was when I was trying to establish a fursona for myself. I had thought that I could use this life experience as a representation on my fursona, like he had to have his previous tail removed and chose a long tail to be more like the long tailed bears of legend that the little and big dipper represent.
Personality: My fursonas personality is alot like mine. He can be quirky, spontaneous and out-going. Although at times a bit hot headed and a bit clumsy, never passes up an opportunity to help someone that might need it. However, in new situations and meeting new people is tough and can be at this point shy and easily embarrassed.

King Kangaroo has a very diverse personality. His true personality is too deep and would be too long for me to write down completely, so, I’m giving you the majors of his traits.
He is very easy and outgoing and great to get along with. He doesn’t drink alcohol at all (Kangaroo Land law declares any and all alcoholic drinks and food illegal). He mainly prefers drinking soda, juice, or water. He has been known (and seen) drinking tea, however this is normally flavored tea and not straight tea. His interests and hobbies mostly consists of snow boarding, skiing, ice skating, and snow ball fights in the winter time, going to beaches, resorts, and pool parties in the summer and spring. When he’s off work he normally spends his free time house cleaning in the morning, then relaxing by watching movies, or playing his S Cube 6 or JIVE 180 game consoles. His favorite genres of games include auto racing games like Spin Out, Rail Grind, Clutch Drive, and many others.
He also spends his free time being an avid Spider Web web page builder. He never posts his pages because he mostly builds them for himself just to have fun doing it.
He is always in the mood to help anyone who needs him whatever the job may be. However, he is also always on the lookout for potential troublemakers who he feels deserves justice. Sometimes his very height can deter criminals and cause them to scatter, other times however, he does resort to going into police mode and serving justice as he sees fit for the situation.
Emotion wise, he normally, for the most part, is peaceful, kind-hearted, and caring. He only resorts to violence when needed, and he still will try not to hurt the suspects too badly. He’s normally happy, joyful, and quite bouncy at times. He tries to stay in a good mood, but if he’s in a bad mood or just upset, stay away, he has been known to seriously hurt other furs in his frequent rages during his bad days. During his rages, he is known to turn car-filled roads into wastelands of crushed autos. He’ll take an entire car lot and take all cars worth 50,000 USD or and more and stack them like blocks, and then, crush them like toys. RVs and Motor Homes are no exception. Surprisingly though, after a rage fit is over, he will turn around facing the damage he did, sit down where he is, and bust out crying for several minutes. After he’s done crying, he will then begin to clean up the damage and help with rebuilding whatever he can.
Despite his rage moments, however, he’s generally very calmed, peaceful and quite enjoyable to be around.
Emotional: King can be very emotional at times. He gets that way when you talk about his deceased grandparents a lot. He loved and cared for his grandparents so much that when they died, he went into mourning for two earth months (one month in his time is [56 days]) over both of them. Now whenever someone speaks of them to him, tears start forming in his eyes.
Every other emotion he shows in just in accordance to the mood he is in at the time.
Open-Minded: He is extremely open-minded about everything anyone asks him (which could explain why he allowed me to type this up about him). He is very chatty and loves talking about all kinds of things like how his day has gone and how other furs and their days have gone, and just stuff at random.

Caring: King is very caring and kind-hearted toward all furs he meets. He rarely has an upset-moment with any of them, and when he does, he tries to calm down really quickly as to not get angry with them. He treats other furs with proper respect and with great hospitality. If at his home, he treats them like they are the guests of honor and gives them the best of everything he has to offer.
He is more than willing to go out of his way to help a fur in need, whether it is picking up a toy a baby fur dropped, taking someone somewhere when they have no transportation of their own, helping the elderly, and other tasks like that and more. He very rarely turns down help if someone asks him, and if he does, it is because he is so busy helping other furs that he can not help the fur in need. When he does turn down a fur’s request for help, he feels very bad and upset about it.
Rational: King can be quite rational at times, especially with furs that are rational at him first. He doesn’t like or enjoy acting in a rational manner, but if he has to be that way to get his point across to them, then he will. He will try his best not to show anger, but try instead to control his frustration toward them. He doesn’t get rational at joeys or other baby or toddler furs that are rational with him. For these cases, he goes to their parents and confronts them about their child’s rationality toward him.
Ambitious: If there is one thing that can be said about King, it is that he is very ambitious, and will do what he says. If he says that he will have lunch with you at 2:45pm at Diego’s Café, then be there and be prompt as he will show up at or earlier than 2:45pm. Be very careful of what you ask of him or from him, because he will give it to you or do it to you quite promptly. He doesn’t delay in getting tasks done. If he sees something that needs to be done, he will do it rather quickly and efficiently to make sure that he doesn’t have to repeat the same task over again.
Brave: King is very brave and will throw himself into harms way just to save another fur’s life. He hates water and swimming, but if he has to save a fur that he sees is drowning and can not swim, then he will throw away his fear of water and dive in and rescue the fur or furs in trouble. In school his was called the brake-up roo because of his ability to try to resolve fights before the teachers and staff arrived, though he would mostly end up being put to the floor with a bleeding nose and pieces of his fur ripped out by the opponent who started the fight.
Generous: King is more generous than you could ever imagine. He is one of those furs who will gladly help out where ever and whenever he can. One of the nicest things about him is that he will try to help a fur in any way he can, and as long as it doesn’t involve violence or blood shed, he will help out, even if it means doing yiff / sex favors for those who need them. The holidays are the best times of the year to see just how generous he really is.
From can food drives, to donating items in his house he no longer has any use for, to helping furs decorate their houses; he is always busy during the holidays doing whatever he can to help out.
Patriotic: He is extremely loving and caring about his home country of Kangaroo Lands, and he gets very upset at furs that poke hateful fun at it. He tries not to use violence to get back at them, but sometimes he may give them a paw nail poke or swipe to get them to stop.
Cowardly: King can be called a coward at one thing and one thing only, water, yes, water. He absolutely hates, no has a phobic attack, when it comes to swimming. This phobia came to him during swim training when he was a toddler fur. While he was swimming in the pool, which was 50ft deep, and he was 30ft tall, he paused for a moment to catch his breath, and when he did, he began to sink. He panicked so much that his father, his mother was on the other side of the pool at the time, jumped in and grabbed him, but not before the water whet over his ears and left him submerged for a few seconds until his father grabbed him and yanked him up and out of the pool.
He dried him off with a towel and set him in his lap and calmed him down. King was so panicked over the incident that he let out the most horrific cry that both his parents had ever heard. They dried him off completely, and put on his training pants, told the swim instructor that he wasn’t ready for more lessons, and went home.
It was from that day on that King hated to swim and soon developed a phobia of swimming. To this day, if he gets anywhere near a pool, he won’t get in the deep end at all. He will get as close to the deep as his phobia will allow him to.
Selfish: King can be quite selfish when it comes to sharing his stuff with other furs. This wasn’t always the case. It arose one day when he saw that a fur needed a pen to use for a day, so being the kind-hearted fur that he was, he allowed the fur to use his pen, but gave him strict orders to return the pen before nighttime. When nighttime came, King went to go to the fur’s house to get his pen back. He soon found out that the fur had not only lost his pen, which was a lie, but had given it away, which was the truth. King became so upset with the fur that he banned him from borrowing anything else he had.
He is now very course with furs who ask him for things to borrow and use.
Loving: King is very loving to everyone he meets and greets. He is never rude or impatient with them. He does give a care about them when he sees they need his help or when they ask him for help. If he wore clothes, which he doesn’t, he would give them to them without a moments’ doubt. If he sees that a fur needs food, water, or shelter, he will go out of his way to provide the fur or furs with such help and assistance.
Honest: King is very honest and respectful. He doesn’t lie, cheat, or steal from anyone for anything. He doesn’t use slang words to cover what he says, no, he says the right, honest words for what he wants his listeners to hear and understand. If he barrows something, he is very prompt and swift and returning it to the lender, and he expects the same from furs who barrow things from him as well.

What does he wish for more than anything?
He doesn’t deal with wishing for anything at all. Whatever he wants, he works hard for.
Does he behave the same way around His Royal Yiff Friends as he does around adults?
No, unless the adults are his friends. When he is around furs who are younger than him, he normally acts playful and friendly. When he is around other adults his age or older, he has a very serious manner about himself that is very evident.
Is he smart?
Yes. His career as a king requires him to maintain a sharp intelligent mindset about himself. He wouldn’t be able to be a king if he wasn’t smart at all.
In what does he excel?
He excels mainly in being a parent raising two joeys. Most other furs find him to be quite resourceful and helpful when offering advice to all parents about how he manages his busy life with his joeys.
In what does he fail?
His rages and loss of self control during them is where he mostly fails. During any rage moment, he’ll lose control of himself and lay waste to anything in his way.
Is he talkative or introverted?
He is very talkative and would hold a long discussion about anything you could think of. He normally will try not to hurt your feelings when you ask him how he thinks of something, but he sometimes does anyway.
Is he athletic?
Yes. He is extremely athletic in the sports of Tail Ball, Basketball, Volleyball, Martial Arts, and many other unique sports.
What small details set him apart from others?
His charm and cuteness often get the best of furs who meet him. Another detail is a notch in his left ear. It is another piece of him that defines him and sets him apart.
Does he have brothers or sisters?
No, he doesn’t have any brothers or sisters. He is an only joey.
Does he have a best friend?
Yes, he does. Her name is Susan Roxy Roo. She is also a macro roo. Her height is 150ft and weight is 300 tons. She lives just a few blocks west from him. She is also one of his co-workers. They met while they were students at Melbourne High School during their senior year in 2003 (our time) and have stayed best friends ever since. They are apart of the same graduating class. Her appearance is as follows: sun yellow main body fur color, black tips of ears, nose, tail, paws, and feet, off white underbody fur color, bright blue eye color, and a medium size pouch (mostly used for storing personal items like her iPhone 4, Red ipod Nano, and other items).
She moved to Sandersville from Toyo Subur 8 years ago due to her farther being stationed at a new Territory Defense base.
How articulate is he?
He has the ability to swivel his ears a full 180 degrees in each direction to pick up sounds coming from any direction. He is also a super roo as well. He can shoot laser beams from his eyes, paws, tips of ears, and tip of tail.

His native language is English. English is the national language of Kangaroo Lands.
What is the quality of his voice?
His voice sounds more or less American than Australian. When he’s involved in casual affairs, he has the tendency to sound more Australian or Caribbean to show off his cool and relaxed side. When he’s involved in formal affairs, he sounds more American or British to match the formal setting he’s in.

He has no verbal anomalies at all about him.
Is he direct in his speech?
He is very direct and assertive in his speech. In fact, he is sometimes so direct and assertive that most furs don’t question his answers to their questions. His points are clear and very understandable by anyone.
Does he use swear words or slang, jargon or street talk?
He doesn’t curse or use odd words at all when he talks to anyone. If someone curses or uses odd words around him, he’ll quickly and abruptly change the topic of conversation.

He can be either or. Most of the time, he is very loquacious around other furs; other times however, he has been known to be very terse with furs whom he has no time to talk to or hang out with.

He is not abrupt in his speech, but he won’t talk you head off either. He will say what he has to and nothing more.

No. He doesn’t do that at all. If he does, it is mostly to the annoyance of a furry that is annoying him.
