Any car furs out there?

(If you're not a car fur and know someone good with cars, please pass this on.)
Okay, I've got a big big problem. Some of you may already know that my car is out of commission.
The problem with it is a blown head gasket. Here are a bit of symptoms before I ask the big question
- Prior to adding stop leak tablets, it didn't leak when it was parked because I never saw spots in the driveway.
- Even when full to the max with coolant, it still overheats to the point that steam rises from the seams of the hood.
- I had the engine's coolant flushed in July, back when my engine started overheating, because I was told I was using the wrong coolant even though the bottle said for all makes and models.
And the biggest worry.
- Whenever my car overheats and I pull over, I can open the coolant intake up without it being hot at all, and when I do that, the coolant cap is coated in grey sludge. It can't be oil because I've seen what happens when oil leaks into the coolant and this isn't the same thing.
I was hoping the grey sludge was just dirt, dust, and road particles that somehow got in there, but I keep seeing it and I'm afraid there could be a massive amount clogging the coolant circulation somehow. Should I get it flushed again? Obviously, I don't have the money to fix the head gasket or I wouldn't be posting this journal. Any suggestions/advice? Thanks!

I had a blown head gasket on the first car i owned (Saturn StationWagon) but not the kinda of problems/symptoms youre talking bout
Of course, I have a garage and tools, so... :V
When I bought this car in September of last year, it had stop leak in it because the head gasket was probably already blown. In July of this year, I was driving down the highway and I noticed the overheat light come on, so I pulled over and lo and behold, my car was completely devoid of coolant. So I filled it up with my "All makes, all models" pre-diluted coolant and continued on my way. It overheated again shortly after, so I had my engine flushed and the guy who did it said that I put bad coolant in it, and he said that stop leak clogs engines and to get these tablets that are better for the engine because they fill holes without clogging the engine.
I'm guessing they didn't get all the stop-leak out, so I'm going to take my car to some place else and hope they can inject some kind of pressure to force out whatever is in there.
