is a friend of mine, and he gets migraines so awful he ends up in agony, trying to sleep, for days. There are other times he can't sleep at all... (Sleeping Meds Never Help) His pain scale rating is often over 10. He needs to see the doctor so they can try to figure out what is wrong, as this is obviously more then your typical migraines, and they could at least give him some pain medication to help while they try and figure things out. But as you can imagine, it would have to be a specialist, more then your ordinary doctor. Due to the fact that I myself have had my fair share of issues, I can understand how expensive this can get...and how frustrating.
is always one to help out a friend if they need it, so in turn I am helping him and asking you to do the same thing you'd do for me.
He's been to the ER for the pain 6 times, and received little to no help, and certainly no answers. Due to the severity of the migraines - and how long they tend to stick around - he has not been able to work for the past two years. If you don't believe me, check out just a few of the migraines he had to deal with in June and July in the journal below. Trust me, it would be damn scary to be in pain for years... and not know why the hell you are - even a name, a cause, is better then not knowing. The not knowing is the scariest damn part. Even when he is in pain he wants to scream or cry - but they hurt too much...so please, keep reading....

Yes, this means I am asking you to donate, IF YOU CAN.
I've seen plenty of people replace tablets and pay rent and do other things with donations, I am sure that someone out there can afford to give a few $s to a furiend in pain.
But there is more to it then that.
Even if you can't afford to donate, there is ways you can help.
Other forms of Donation can be discussed with Scars through Note
Be Supportive.
I'm not talking about "Oh I am sorry," or "Everything will be ok". If I understand even a little of what he has been and is going through...that will seem like words people just say. Telling him "I am praying for/thinking of you" might help him know that you are truly caring for him. You can watch him to keep updated on his situation. I know I am working on my own personal little project to try and show him that even though I have only known him a short time...I care. If you have spare time, consider drawing something for him - I know even a quick 5 minute sketch is appreciated from personal experience. It means someone cares, someone wants to take time out of their day to say "You are worth it to me".
But don't say "I'll be here for you" or "Anything you need, ask" if you don't mean it.
If you choose to be supportive then actually commit and be supportive.
Finally, I ask that you, at the very least, consider making a journal to spread the word about his cause. Please. If we can make spam journals about contests, can we not take a few minutes to make a journal to help out a fellow fur in dire medical need?
And look, it's not completely without reward, as you will see here.
Come on guys, I have seen the fandom rise to right an insult that
had to suffer at
's hands - Now I am asking you to rise and assist a kitsune in pain.
is here. Go and at LEAST look at his page.

The not knowing part is rather horrible. Happens to me all the time because I don't have money for any health insurance let alone a visit to a "CareNow" doctor.

I posted a journal. (http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2801938/) I hope it helps more than I was able to the other day. I feel bad I can't do more, but if I think of anything, I'll let you guys know.
