I told everybody that's what this comic itself was. I never thought that particular urgency would rest on the first page.
Slade got the replacement tablet working properly. I don't feel very compelled to smile over it as it seems too little too late. But I don't want to give up my passion without a fight...
I've posted Page 1 of the donation comic, that still needs a name. It can be seen HERE.
I've set a modest but necessary goal of $75 per page. If I hit at least $70 I'll have proper motivation to continue this project and finish work on art I own. If that doesn't work, then My art gets put to the side and I go and live like every other cog in the machine.

Well, we'll see what that ring I mentioned fetches. Was planning on selling it today.
Maybe it's a good idea to supplement it with a part time job. When it's that difficult to survive on it, you're turning your art into something desperate and unenjoyable. It's not about being a cog in a machine, it's about giving yourself the means to pursue what you REALLY want.
That being said, hope things work out.
I do appreciate your input though. Good to see even the strangers care.
