Back when cartoons could really be creepy and scary (and fun)!
If anybody out there has ever played "Banjo-Kazooie," tell me if you think the scene at around 2:05 looks familiar.
Happy Halloween, all!
Edit: Before the next person writes a "What were they smoking when they made this?" comment, please scroll down and read the comment posted by
ToledoFur. He gets the point across much more eloquently than I could.

And to think this was done 13 years BEFORE LSD was discovered...
"I really want whatever the hell THEY were smoking, in quantity," or, "This is what happens when you let Princess Luna take over the animation studio."
They just don't make 'em like that any more and that's a real shame.
It didn't actually air at first because of the controversy it caused, but it did end up in rotation in syndication. Bill Martin and Phil Coulter, who'd composed the music that got used as the episode's background, were quite surprised that it ended up in a children's cartoon. REALLY surprised.
The title of the track? L.S.D.
And now you know...the rest, of the story!
Eww booo
