I'm snowed under doing work for Friday's deadline, so I'll try to make it quick.

I'm considering starting commissions again in a different way. The key analogy here is taxi rides.

Here's how I picture it:
First 20 minutes of drawing will be free.
After then I'd charge £5 for 30,
then £10 for an hour,
+£5 will be added for every 30 minutes spent drawing.
I shall use a stopwatch to record the exact time I spent drawing it,
and calculate the price accordingly to the nearest dollar/pound/euro.
I will most likely use a video feed to prove I'm not bluffing about the time,
and also to get constant feedback from the commissioner through IM, et al.

It would be awkward if I initiated this now, since I haven't done timed drawings for FA oriented art yet, and also my wacom pen's up the duff of course. I'm putting this to you, as a means to encourage discussion and negotiation on how I can refine and develop on this bout of blue sky thinking (or just scrap the idea altogether).

Of course I'll be working non-stop on  LeSarthois big fat commission comic, and start the whole thing over, because I am personally convinced I can do it much better by the time Christmas is over and done with, a la replacement wacom pen. I swear to him, I will be make every effort to be as prolific and consistent with it as I can, ASAP!


Now I've sorted all that out.... pretty big news. Britain ain't part of the EU any more. Can't exactly determine how detrimental or beneficial that'll be, but from what I gather, the way our PM Cameron went about it was quite interesting. In the past, Churchill gave two fingers to Germany for the troubles in war, and just recently Cameron followed suit by giving two fingers to the EU. That's right! Britain just gave a big FU to the EU! I'm pretty sure the prime-minister wanted to do that for a very long time.

Also, for those of you live in Britain..... BLACK MIRROR! Trilogy series. Ummm.... TV event of the year right?
15 Million Merits... epic. Harrowing, dark, arresting. Just. Epic!! (if you can't stomach the implications raised in episode 1 The National Anthem, just skip it and watch this one instead, but it's still really dark mind you...)
